BRC Playa Anecdotes Vol VI

After the 6th burn in a row, it’s the eve of my 31st lap around the sun and looking back at the few memories I have in my phone (mostly sent from a friend) and reminiscing one of the most meaningful burns so far, the resolution its always the same but somehow different:

BRC never ceases to surprise me.

This year was definitely one of the toughest however one of the most rewarding I’ve ever experienced. Old and new faces all around, significant moments and the ability to be out of our comfort zone and still being able to be resilient and figure out any situation that comes our way, it’s definitely one of the most beautiful things about this insane experience and that’s what’s its all about.

To @campbytethis (@jayblanda & @dreubleam )for the trust, the art, the music, the shelter, the love, the sense of community, the laughs and moments: Gracias. More than proud to be part of a group of crazy and amazing human beings I get to call family, wouldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else. Thanks for the opportunity and love of the tradition of a b2b during )’( burn with my hermano @justinimbastari and the fam of @victorsouz___ @ryanschmidtyyy & the sound maniac @mon0loc0

To the other camps that open their doors to share our art and music @camp_neversleepagain (@thegoldenonex @feartheyouth @auggielosangeles ), @horizon_camp (@jasonrault & @deiv.schon ) , @cuddleoasiscamp (@reo.sound ), @amazonecamp (@flaviosalviano @crystalchildcami )thanks for letting me share moments and memories and @havananightscamp (@nataliasworld , @raulbrand )sorry couldn’t make it to the Lighthouse, the dust storm got us good

Every year I feel more and more strongly about something I heard at my first burn and till today I still spread around:

If you ask genuinely from the bottom of your heart anything to The Playa, somehow The Playa will give it to you no matter what. It’s all about the intentions and how open we are.

At the end Playa Provides… always

To my husband on our first anniversary:
What a year it has been! Through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows I’m so honored to be experiencing them with you. Thank you for being the person I always run to - in celebration, laughter and periods of challenge. You inspire me to dig into life and enjoy every last ounce of it. Cheers to us today baby❤️

To our village (not all pictured here) thank you for continuing to love and support us as we build this little life of ours.

The decor team truly blew it out of the park with Once Upon a Time. From The Archives to The Dungeon to games of Guess Who, this team worked tirelessly to beautify the barren landscape and bring the stortybook to life.

Huge thank you to @naymeste_ for directing the vision and hosting countless craft nights, bringing our community together in creation. Endless thank yous to @intimatelyeuni @groovypalettes @akadavonte @blake__river @autumn.mari3 & many more for their leadership & creativity. To the many volunteers who helped craft, create, and build - this couldn’t have happened without you✨⛅️📚🌈

Let us know what some of your favorite pieces were. What stuck with you? Did you notice any of the special details?
