The Express Lunch at RAMEN-SAN Fulton Market is the workday lunch I keep going back to: so much delicious food for around $18 (this offer is available for dine-in only and offers may vary by location)

Prefect views of Chi-city 🌃🌆🏙️
Captured some of the excitement and happiness of the past weeks. Sometimes we underestimate the value of prefect views seen through prefect lenses, no floaters no arcs.. just good vision.

Everything in life can be replaced Tuesdays with Sundays but good health is irreplaceable so enjoy every bit of good things that come your way cause happiness does look good.
Some great food options I tired

Chicago Marathon 2026
5-time Chicago finisher legacy status achieved.
Qualified for Boston—again—in 2028, if I want it.
4th marathon in a year.

It was apparent very, very early in the race that I was not pulling off any heroic feat with my time. Add the tendon strain. It very quickly became about soaking it in, staying within range of another BQ, and avoiding overheating.

A big heroic goal requires big heroic weekly mileage. My volume just wasn't there at the moments I needed it to be. And the big weeks I did achieve left me needing to recover or offload a strain. I thought, maybe, my successful front-end work before the tendon strain in September would carry more weight. It did not. 😂

BUT. I completely know what I'm capable of. I felt it, I got to experience it. 10 miles around Foster Park at 6:45 by myself, unfueled, untapered. I never want to forget that workout or the other successful, fast ones leading up to it.

It has been the most magical, wild ride to push my potential for three hard and fast years. Thanks for rooting me on. Thanks to Phil who clocked a nearly half marathon on foot chasing me around today.

I may just need to take a break—with a plan to come back stronger later. I ain't done. ♥️

Express Lunch Sets:
• Miso salmon rice + 10-hour tonkotsu ramen
• Miso salmon rice + chicken shio ramen
• Karaage chicken rice + 10-hour tonkotsu ramen

A popular ramen spot near Lincoln Park with a super affordable and convenient lunch set! For just $17.95, you get to enjoy both a rice dish and a bowl of ramen, plus a small salad and edamame hummus. Such a great deal! 🤩

I ordered their famous 10-hour tonkotsu ramen, and the broth was definitely the highlight! Rich, flavorful, and impressive. If you’re looking for a satisfying and budget-friendly lunch in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out!
