På Kvitnes Gård i Vesterålen reiser gjestene langt for å spise det som vokser på jordet utenfor.

I Hvitsten har Ramme bygget et reisemål av stedets egen historie, der kunst, hager, mat og overnatting hører sammen.

Ute i verden ser vi det samme. The Newt i Somerset og Borgo Santo Pietro i Toscana er gårder som har blitt reisemål i seg selv, og der jordbruket fortsatt er en del av driften.

Likevel ser vi oftere til utlandet enn til våre egne gårdstun når vi snakker om luksus i norsk reiseliv. Stillheten, råvarene og menneskene som kjenner stedet er hverdag for oss. For andre er det grunnen til å reise.

Poenget er ikke å kopiere noen. Det er å se verdien i det som allerede er vårt, og å utvikle det med samme selvtillit.

Kanskje ligger den største muligheten ikke i det vi mangler, men i det vi har sluttet å legge merke til.

Hallo på do! 🚽✨ Hvem har egentlig det fineste toalettet? 👀

Er det bare meg som alltid må sjekke interiøret (..og om det er rent og pent) på toalettet når jeg besøker et fint hotell eller en restaurant? 😂🫣

Noen steder har tydeligvis bestemt seg for at selv et toalettbesøk skal være en designopplevelse! Det gjør meg oppriktig glad å se at det henger kunst inne på do 🥰 At det er gjort seg flid med toalettet sier så mye om en plass!

Resepsjonisten på Ramme sa til meg.."du måå faktisk se inne på herretoalettet også" 🤭 Så ja, da gjorde jeg det og ble ikke skuffet her heller.

Også de ikoniske eggene hos Sketch i London da..hvor trappene til toalettet ender opp i en egen slags UFO-bar på midten 🛸🥚👽

Hvilket er din favoritt? Tips til andre jeg faktisk burde sette på lista mi? 😅🤞

Prøvde å finne igjen et bilde fra Monkey Bar i Berlin også fra da jeg var der.. men det får bli med på neste runde kanskje🐒

ahhh I just live for the BER months. Right after halloween, on nov 1st the christmas tree comes up and christmas season starts 🎄

even during my teenage years I haaated going out. All I wanted to do was stay inside, watch cozy movies & just do coozy home activities. Im suuuch a homebody 🤎

coffee is just the best thing to ever exist. I don’t function without coffee ☕️ fun fact I can spend up to 5h drinking my coffee because I’m enjoying it so much

I come from a small town a lot like stars hollow, just 30 minutes outside of Oslo. I’ve been living in the city for the past 5 yrs now but honestly I’m dreaming about moving back home with my bf & leo, get closer to my family, buy our dream house & start a family 🥹

then I get the best of both worlds because the big city is sooo close and I get that wholesome small town life again.

this is such a funny thing. Any other creators who can relate?

like I often wonder why I want this life & career online so badly because I’m such a private person and I get so easily overstimulated. I constantly feel like I’m in limbo between two lives.

I honestly feel like my soul belongs in a hallmark movie and that in another life I would not be on social media at all, live in a small town, own the café by the corner & have a family.

I am without a doubt the happiest when I’m with my closest people, when I can just be me and live seasonally, doing the most wholesome activities 🍂🤎

🍂 crispy fall walks

fall season is baking season & it is suuuch a cozy thing to do with family, your bf or friends. My favorite recipes are:

🍂 pumpkin pancakes for breakfast on the weekends
🍂 apple or pumpkin pie
🍂 cinnamon buns
🍂 caramelized apples

fall fashion are the beeest and trust me, buying a few staple pieces to mix and match with will make this season even better 🍂🍂

one of my beeest tips for romanticizing fall. Make yourself a fall playlist, or just use one of the many already existing ones, go for lots of fall walks and watch all of the stuuuunning fall colors 🥹🍁🍂🍁🍂

this to really makes the whole difference when romanticizing fall season. You don’t need a ton of decorations to get the cozy fall feels at home. Just buy some pumpkins, fall leaves and maybe a cozy blanket and your home will feel sooo cooozy for the season 🍂

ahhh fall season is soup season and there is sooo many good recipes!! Just search up soup season on explore page and you’ll get a ton of recipes to try for fall 🍁

Such nice company touring Oscarsborg museum and @ramme.no Mark & Tom were visiting from North Carolina and took great interest in Norway’s world war II history, a lutefisk museum and the beautiful art exhibits and gardens at Ramme Gård. Edvard Munch’s restored beach property was a highlight, as was Pablo, a sweet dog that came along on a fascinating 2-hour guided tour by Petter Olsen, founder of the center.
