What’s that? Another double feature? That’s right, the first of our next two Gi60 Houston 2026 Playwright Focuses is Lucy Wang from Los Angeles, CA with Succulent!

Lucy’s been featured in Gi60 Houson a few times now, but she also had a play in Gi60 US’s 2024 lineup - Junior Moment. Check it out!

I’m a working Actor in NYC!!! Took me a little bit to go ahead and post about this but I’m so happy to share some behind the scenes photos of the last project I worked on Love Story! It was my Off-Broadway Debut!!! Got to work with a great team and an incredibly proud of the work I put in! If you got to see it thank you so much for coming and if you didn’t and wished you caught it, don’t worry just catch me in the next one :)

5:30pm: The History, 645 9th Ave.
Start your night at this unique & kitschy Hell's Kitchen Georgian spot, with live music and dancers. Also the free bread comes with a butter candle soooo....yes.

7:00pm: Love Story, 312 W 36th St.
Then head to The Tank to catch Aurora Stewart de Peña's world premiere, presented by The Tank and Voyage Theater Company. Maria is dead, but she's still on the call sheet. She's trapped inside a play that keeps restarting itself, where scenes from her life are rehearsed and revised by the people who loved her. Conversations loop. Arguments reset. Stage directions are sentient. Maria watches as their memories turn her into a character, a plot device in the stories of the people she loved. As the play slips between rehearsal, recollection, and imagined afterlives, Maria tries to wrest back authorship of her own story. She argues with monologues, questions the rules of the world she’s trapped in, and refuses to become a symbol of loss. Love Story navigates what comes after death, when love refuses to let you step into your light. This is one of the shows we're excited for this month!

8:30pm: Finnerty's, 18 W 33rd St.
End your night at the newly re-opened sports bar, Finnerty's, for an ice cold beer after the show!

(Love Story runs through 5/17 - get your tickets today!)
