Sometimes one opportunity can change what you believe is possible. ❤️
A few years ago, I could never have imagined the life I’m living today. Now I’m studying at a school I once could only dream about, @academieprincessegrace surrounded by teachers and dancers who inspire me every day.
But I’ve also learned that no dream comes easily. An opportunity may open a door, but you still have to do the work to walk through it. Behind every step forward are countless hours in the studio, corrections, setbacks, discipline, and the choice to keep going even when it’s hard.
YAGP @yagp has been so much more than a competition in my journey. It has been a bridge to a much bigger ballet world incredible teachers and mentors, friendships with dancers who share the same passion, and opportunities I didn’t even know existed.
I’m grateful for every teacher who has taught me, corrected me, challenged me, and helped me grow. And I’m especially grateful to Ms. Larissa and the entire YAGP team for everything they do behind the scenes to create these opportunities for young dancers around the world.
That’s why I hope we continue to support YAGP and the opportunities it creates. You never know which class, connection, scholarship, or simple moment of encouragement might make a difference in a young dancer’s journey.
I know because one of those opportunities made a difference in mine. ❤️
Every dancer has their own story, and this is simply mine.
Choose kindness. Choose gratitude. Think for yourself. And keep passing the good forward. ❤️✨
