3rd time climbing since I had a hysterectomy 4 months ago ! What a journey.
So exciting to be able to move around again. Still feels like a long way to go…

Very fun (and greasy) day up at Lincoln running around trying easier stuff. Poison Squad may be the best 8 I’ve ever done (and felt easier than brown seam). Also ran up Lonely Carpenter with some fun compression/ wide toe hook beta. Shoutout to @sp.sends for sticking with Lonely Carpenter for the hardest boulder she’s gotten up in a day!

More Moore’s history! This time in the form of a 2010 LT11 (@louderthan11) video featuring developer Rodney Biddle (@spannerbeta1000) describing his history in the area, and NC legend of the next generation, Rami Annab (@ramrod92) demonstrating Rodney’s prized FA, Tsunami (V8), now one of the most classic and sought after problems in the area.

Rodney shares that he first went to Moore’s in 1997, after John Provetero brought him to the area. They came together, alone, “year after year after year.”

He describes that plenty of people were sport and trad climbing, but no one was focused on hard obscure boulders. “It wasn’t just about being strong. It was about being available. No one else was here.”

This project! !!!! 💥💥💥. had a nice & cold time showing @ramrod92 a few things in Roy for his birfday, one being this old project. ☝🏽 I think this thing is all time !!! 5 moves or so all of which are pretty hard, bullet rock & the hole in the wall start is just amazing.. still some gems waiting to go down in Roy & syke is high.. @josh.rexroad was there & almost did all the moves minus the big move to the slope (was close) .. We were chasing those temps & boy did we get them, it dropped to 15 over night 🥶 we’ll see if some boulders get done before the heat sets in.. good times 🤗
