The class was broken up into groups and their task was to take the combos we learned, and make them unique in their own way. 💡 The idea behind this exercise is that after all the instruction, I want my dancers to still be more of ”them” and less of “me” I fear our tamahine ate this one up 🤣👏🏽👏🏽 here is their final product! . . . #ori #tahiti #oritahiti #maui #dance #polynesian #hawaii #tahitiandance #tahitian | Maui ori Tahiti dance school | vahine | tamahine | #explorepage✨ #danceislife

Māuruuru Tereva, your guidance has helped me find joy in ‘Ori Tahiti even more than before. My Te Ohi Nui ohana has filled my heart. These girls all inspired me to be more adventurous in my ‘Ori. I’m so proud to be part of the Te Ohi Nui ohana🥰 @teohinui Thank you for reminding me why I love ‘Ori so much. Seeing all the girls together reminded me of how much fun I had as a little girl dancing with all my friends. So much joy and love! I’ll always be learning more about ‘Ori Tahiti and I’m so grateful for this experience with you all. Everyone gave it their all, from our girls on stage to the moms backstage. I’m so grateful to get 3rd place in my age category!🥉 Looking forward to next time💜🌺 @heivaihawaii
