Climb into The Groove Portal with Rancho Relaxo
And feast your ears on the Norwegian neo-psychedelic rock project, @ranchorelaxoband as they drift through “I Want You from” their 2012 album “Happy Friday Experiment” with a super groovy blend of jangly 12-string guitars, tambourine-driven rhythms, hazy shoegaze textures, trippy melodic hooks, and reverb-drenched psychedelic layers that unfold with a fuzzy, laid-back flow.

Wild.
Untamed and clear.
Never orbiting.
What keeps others near.
Beyond the known. Beneath the seen.
It’s young fire. Old truth.
What survives. What stays true.
My bones.
Yours too.

A fever tremble clear. Far from reason.
Unfolding. Drifting. Beyond fear.
Everything false and hollow died.
At a station. Far away. Somewhere. Near.
They do not flinch.
When breaking and breathing becomes bare.
They’re held. Fully there.
Fangs pressing deeper. Staying there.
Our noise.
Always here.

When the ground beneath reality starts to break.
Volcanic whispers in the blood.
Wiring you awake.
Voltage drifting through our veins.
Nothing stays the same.
Noise.
You.
Me.
Exactly as we were always meant to be.
Absolutely free.

Dew upon my eyes. Southward gaze.
Through a clear. Quiet haze.
A sweet ache runs.
The length of my spine.
You’re mine.
Attention. In my wrists.
As I gather my wings.
From what once was missed.
Rib to rib. String by string.
Carefully. Tracing the shape.
Of everything.
Illuminating lines.
In my hands.
Within.
From afar.

I know who you are.

Impossible to ground. Too powerful to sound.
Your untamed state. Unafraid.
Unpolished in every shade.
Too exact to ever fade.

It’s the ecstasy you make.

That electricity I feel. It isn’t only mine.

This one is for you.
Always.

Rare beings. Intense souls. Who don’t circle ordinary worlds.

Integrity without insulation.
Who know where to tighten.
Exactly. Where to let the current run.
Come undone.
