2027 6’6 SG Bryce Hoffert (@bryce.hoffert) out of Sunshine Elite (@sunshineelitebasketball) was named one of the Top Performers during Day 1 of @ontheradarhoops Power 24 in Cartersville, Georgia

Hoffert averaged 17.0 points per game in two games played where he helped lead Sunshine Elite to wins over Triangle Offense and Palm Beach Prep.

Day 2 with @hiba_elchikhe in @waltdisneyworld: our session with @officialdisneyprograms, then a magical park day with @ainsleymelham, completed by getting to worship at the altar of @iamsusanegan and @jmiglehart at #FestivalOfTheArts! 🥰

It was an absolute joy to get to have Hiba share her stories with the @officialdisneyprograms participants, and it was made EXTRA special when @ainsleymelham rolled in (fresh off a late-night tech rehearsal) for a SURPRISE performance of “A Whole New World!” What a delight! And what a joy to spend the morning with our friends from Programs, Parks Synergy, and our DVC icon @ryanmarchfl! You all really make it feel like family for us - thank you for making each moment so special!

Then we were off to the Parks - thank you, Ainsley, for letting us join your tour!!! Of course, big highlight for me of the day was hearing @jlabbottnyc’s delicious new arrangements at “The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure” at Hollywood Studios! He got this Ariel fan RIGHT in the feels!

But the most magical part of the day was watching our friends @iamsusanegan and @jmiglehart take the stage at Epcot (conducted by King @justin__hornback for the night, even!) Now, James is the ULTIMATE showman of course - our Tony-winning ICON! Dazzled us! But I have to tell you why I was a puddle of tears at the end of the night. It’s one of the ultimate privileges and joys of my life to be stage right of our Susan at the piano so often - I wouldn’t trade it for anything, BUT to be able to sit in the audience again and see her the way you all get to see her? The way I saw her when I was 7? What a GIFT! I was a WRECK. The way she connects to the audience IS magic. And watching her sing “Home,” knowing that SHE knows the ways it has brought us together over the past 32 years….I dissolved into a puddle of tears in her arms in the dressing room. She is THE Susan Egan! The reason my hands ever touched a keyboard! How could I ever begin to forget the power of that inspiration?! It would sink in more and more over the following days…the big “Beauty” shows were still to come. But what an absolute joy and wildly emotional night. And THEN we watched “Fantasmic”! WHAT A DAY!

What a whirlwind of blessings. These last two weeks launching the Disney Destiny on @disneycruiseline have been nothing short of a dream. Here is a small sampling of the people who made it so: friends on the shore team, cast and crew on board, some pals for nearly 30 years, some new but just as close in my heart. Special shoutouts to @therealtonyshepherd who herded me through the christening, my beautiful daughter @isla_hartmann who was the best date ever. Grateful to Mickey and Minnie, @joshdamaro Joe Schott and the entire creative team for the christening!! Loved hanging with @t8dono and the cast of #Hercules, with @elenikontos ! Thank you Anna for the magic make-up brushes (and tutorial)! @randbo4013 and @cayla_korinne @ostrander796 - the best directors, wranglers, hosts ever! @davidfbaldree it’s been too long!! 💜

For the Maiden Voyage - I put on the producer hat with @adamjlevy and could not be more proud of our #onenightonly concert with @jordanfisher @jmiglehart @oliviadonalson @lissadeguz ! Best choreographer @annaawhite got our steps in order! @pjtux made us look like a million bucks under lights and brought the cutest mascot! @khristianbork - the projections were incredible!! @disneyconcerts and @thebfells - your support and dedication partnership make it all possible! The crew of the Walt Disney Theatre are brilliant and so very kind! @carlykins36 is a goddess! Could not have put this together without our associate producer @sare_hin and our magical MD @brauhala (thank you for nodding the downbeats for me, Benji!). @betsypadamonsky and Brian Rangell!! You two are DREAMS! @molandrymancini Rachel Green … we are forever grateful for these opportunities! To the onboard cast and crew of the Destiny!! You brought so much magic to our sailing!! Thank you! And to every guest we met - thank you for your kind words and for jumping into your #destiny with us!!

We were so lucky to have Disney Legend Martha Blanding stop by #disneyprograms to share her stories with us last week! Her insights and guidance as the first-ever Black American to achieve a half-century-long career with Disney were incredible, humbling, and empowering to hear.
