What a week. ✨️ 📚 🎧

✴️ Seven books read this week.
✴️ Two (and a half 😉) arcs read this week.
✴️ Two five-star reads this week.
✴️ Two book club reads, read this week.

I started this week off finishing an advanced listening copy of @briarboleynauthor's, With Hearts of Flame 🔥 and while I can hardly believe the story is over -- what a journey its been and I had the best time.

Then, I also got an advanced listening copy of The Incendiary, by @ljclaren, this is the one I'm calling (and a half), because even though The Incendiary came out in September, the audiobook is dropping here soon, and it was one million percent, absolutely worth the wait. 🎉 🫶🏽 The ending though, is diabolical, in the midst mic drop of ways. 🎤 ✨️

Then, I finished two book club specific reads, Mazywood by @tananarivedue and Grim Tidings by @authorbkborison -- cannot wait to chat through those two and hear all of the thinks and theories! Another sort of book club related, I read The Ex Hex by @erinsterlingbooks for bonus points for the Fall Reading Program book bingo! 📚 Also, sort of adjacent, I couldn't make the book club where we chatted about @karinslaughterauthor's The Secrets We Hide but I had to make sure I got to read it and I fully enjoyed it! Now I can share my theories and thoughts!

Lastly, one of my favorite reads of the week, Wildfire Dreaming by @randimgarner -- so blessed with be able to arc read with the rest of her amazing street team and I cannot wait to see this read in your guys hands and hear everything you thought and loved about it! 🖤

Are you familiar with any of these? Which did you love? What was your favorite read of the week?

MAFIA. DREAM WALKING. YEARING. UNHINGED LEVELS OF CUTE. 😂🖤

Another ARC down and apparently Corporate Mafia Romantasy is my thing now. WHO KNEW?!

Childhood dream sweethearts get separated. She thinks he forgot her. He’s in the mafia keeping TABS on her while she’s out here being artsy, getting drunk, and wondering why her man never came looking. MA’AM. 😭

Dark romance meets mystical whimsy, with a magical cat, two loyal henchmen, some betrayal, and enough yearning to keep me fed.

The plot flowed, the vibes vibed, and the light stalking was… annoyingly adorable.

Who knew organised crime with dream-surfing drama could be this freaking cute? 🖤
