MY 30th BIRTHDAY PROM BIATCH!✨💐🪩💃🏻 I graduated into a brand new decade and celebrated with a night of nostalgia, surrounded by the people who have been with me (and raised me) through all the seasons of my life 🥹🫧 everyone reluctantly rsvp-ed to my fb event, then begged for a more efficient way of communication. So I sent out physical invitations three days before the event. PROMPOSALS HAPPENED #thankgod !!! my childhood besties flew in like I was bouta win an award 😭 and instead I forced them to tinsel an entire cafe, paint and glitter a bunch of signs at 3am the night before, do all of the heavy lifting, clear out all the sprite at my local bodega, and watch Heated Rivalry. My boo drove all over the damn boroughs cuz I lied four years ago and said I was working on getting my license 🫂 My bff “DJ BUDGE IT” spun paper plates 🎶AAAALLL NIIIIGHTT LOOOONG🎶 (aka only played half my required playlist…the Princess Diaries soundtrack belongs on the dance floor thank you one day I will seek revenge). I hired a balloon twister because I’m not allergic to fun. I threw a slice of pizza into everyone’s mouths and then we kissed, it was awesome. I had so much fun I forgot to crown the Prom Queen and King but that’s bc we are all winners in my book (I’m so mad I bought the damn sashes for this moment)!!! 📸 snapped by the most talented made my dreams come true photographer @carolinexia_ 💕 Some deets: Hosted at @lazysundaes after hours!!!
