Whenever I’m not running around pretending to be a marathoner, I install these finishes. 1 1/2” fry reglet. This finish will leave a 1 1/4 inch “shadow” from the finished floor to the finish drywall. We use a laser in this case to ensure that it perfectly level. #construction #drywall #milwaukee #fryreglet

Just a bit of what I do here R&S Drywall. Fry reglet finishes are aluminum architectural finishes used to termite transition points between two different types of material. It gives your as a sleek elegant look that is customizable in many different ways. In this example, we have a base that’ll sit 1/2 lower than the metal finish for a 1/2 inch “shadow”. Up in the soffits that’ll create a 1/2 inch shadow in the ceiling. #architecture #drywall #construction #tradesmen Would you put this type of finish in your home?

I’m about 60 pounds down and still find little spots that I can’t fit into 😂😂 here’s a peak into what we work on at @randsdrywall @dannnyyphantom had all the fun getting it all cut out and installed so I’ll be sure to showcase what he came up with in the future. #fitness #fryreglet #drywall #construction #fyp

Quick progress update on a remodel we’ve been working on in Palm Desert. 3/4 Reglet finish “U” metal. The top and bottom grooves eventually get taped, 2nd coated, and “rulered” to get a level 5 finish. We use a saw to cut material and lasers to level it. Currently about 60% done. I’d be done ages ago but sparkies gotta be sparkies you know 😂 #fryreglet #level5 #milwaukee #drywall @randsdrywall

The U.S. Supreme Court just made it easier for employers to classify employees as exempt under the FLSA.

In E.M.D. Sales, Inc. v. Carrera, the Court ruled that employers only need to prove exemption by a preponderance of evidence—meaning it’s more likely than not that the employee qualifies—rather than the stricter clear and convincing standard.

While this lowers the burden of proof, employers should still review classifications carefully, as state laws may differ.

Pulling out the @milwaukee mini grinder for tight spots. In this case we removed the drywall but the staples were still imbedded in the metal. So as to preserve the metal and not completely remove it and also slide in another sheet later, easy fix with this tool. #Milwaukee #builder #albañil #mileaukeepackout #construction #buildersofig #builder #drywall #cornerbead #construction
