The work doesn’t always feel rewarding while you’re doing it.

That’s probably why most people stop.

Back to it. 🧪

Day 5 of NFL Off-season Training. HIGH
Accel/decel day: our highest intensity day of the week.

After yesterday’s skill and upper body session, today was about filling our accel and decel volume buckets from a GPS standpoint. Every day this week had a purpose, and today was the exclamation point.

We ran two prep stations before touching the main work. Accel prep included med ball throws, 1 to 2 broad jumps, and resisted 1 steps. Decel prep included yielding isos and accelerated braking steps.

Main work was sprints at 30% velocity decrement to the T-Apex, skip into sprints, then finishing with pattern runs specific to positional demands.

Weight room matched the day. Lower body emphasis to reinforce the field work.

This is what a well-structured week looks like. Monday sets up Tuesday. Thursday sets up Friday.
