I was a little too young to enjoy @paulaabdul's main singing career from 1988 to 1996, when she earned two number 1 albums and six number 1 singles in less than a decade. However, after 12 years away from performing, the iconic American Idol judge and mama bear returned with ‘Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow’ and I finally got to witness her greatness in real time.

‘Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow’ was released in 2008 via Concord Records as part of Randy Jackson’s Music Club: Volume 1. The beat, the choreography, the undeniable face card and that… flowing red thing???, it’s honestly a beautiful music video and the song is pretty catchy. It peaked at number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 29 on Billboard Adult Contemporary and number 2 on Billboard Dance.

While Paula Abdul released another single, ‘I’m Just Here for the Music,’ and a few promo tracks, ‘Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow’ remains the last, true hit in her discography. And it’s not a bad note to leave off on. Paula Abdul continues to perform to this day and I hope this song is in her set list. While her style of dancing is uniquely her own, this track is also just completely Paula.

Touring with Randy Jackson was a revelation. His understanding of power on the bass guitar opened my eyes to what makes a record truly succeed. This insight was invaluable when producing for myself and legends like Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin, knowing exactly what a number one record demands 🏆

This song was written by David Paul,Peter Paul and myself, performed with Roger Ridley, who no longer is with us. It took nearly 27 years to get the message across and here it is. In honor of my late friend David, my dear friend Peter and also Anas just left us as well, I want to say thank you never giving up on the light. Always continue to shine. Peace and one love.

On September 19, 2022, @kellyclarkson was honored with a ⭐ on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrating a career that has taken her from "American Idol" to becoming a @grammys-winning recording artist, television host and one of the most recognizable voices of her generation.

Making the day even more memorable, Kelly was joined by the original "American Idol" judges who were there at the beginning of her journey — @paulaabdul, @simoncowell and @randyjackson.

Washingtonian here and I’ve never once stepped foot into the Arctic Club Hotel! It’s absolutely stunning and the ballroom is gorgeous! My daughter and I had so much fun at this event! The musicians were absolutely amazing and had such incredible and fun personalities! Their stage presence and senses of humor added to the show! I highly recommend going to the Michael Jackson Candlelight Concert! #michaeljackson #candllightconcertseattle #candllightconcert #candlelightconcert🕯️ #candlelightconcert🕯️🎻✨ There wasn’t enough people! My daughter and I assumed it would be packed and there were so many emotions seats! I hope it’s OK to take MJ’s family! With Quincy Jones (R.I.P.) having ties to Seattle maybe more people will show up next concert!
