Uno de los múltiples placeres que conlleva la experiencia del cine, más allá de la película, la butaca, las palomitas o la sala a oscuras, son esas pequeñas orquestrinas que anuncian el inicio de la función. La fanfarria de 20th Century Fox. El león de MGM. La lámpara de Pixar. Salvando las distancias —aunque no tanto como podría parecer—, nosotros también queríamos que Ruibarbo tuviera la suya. Para llevar a cabo esta pequeña fantasía, tuvimos la suerte de contar con la paciencia, la generosidad y el talento de @rapapawn (@cynthialfonso y @oscaranha ), que se encargaron de la animación, y de la sensibilidad y genialidad de Lucía Fumero (@la.fumero ), que compuso la música. Echad un vistazo a sus trabajos y flipad 👀👀 Estamos muy agradecidos y emocionados de poder mostraros estos pocos segundos que, para nosotros, significan tanto 🚀

En 2019 convertimos un piso en una pequeña república del caos: 𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙖 Entraba arte, salía gente, sonaba música y nadie parecía recordar quién había traído a quién. Creíamos estar construyendo algo. Probablemente estábamos destruyéndonos nosotros mismos. Fue una época gloriosa. No repetiría absolutamente nada. 📸 @majovalido

Speaking of speed, we visit Kirk Pearson (@el.capitano.kirk) of @projectzero.coffee in Melbourne to see what laws of physics he breaks to make you a latte in just 15 seconds (hint: pre-batched espresso). In keeping with the asphalt-hot atmosphere, we bring you Los Angeles for our issue’s city profile, while we grab matcha & discuss if the green in the new black with writer Tanya Nanetti (@tanya_coffee_travel). To cool you off, we’ve prepared an idyllic short holiday in the Japanese alpine town of Hakuba, and explore the coffee culture of Malawi in our origin profile. This time around, coffee sample all our subscribers will receive with the new issue is a fully-washed Pink Bourbon & Caturra from the Carlos Imbachi family in Colombia, roasted by @doubleshotcz in Prague. We’ve worked with @mahlkonig across many issues of Standart over the years, and we’re especially excited to be doing so again as they continue to expand their @mahlkonighome collection—from precision grinding solutions to a brand-new home espresso machine launching later this year. 🎞️ 𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐗𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (4ª ed.) [crónica] E xa van catro. O festival 𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐗𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 - 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨́𝐧 𝐀𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨́𝐧 baixaba o telón o pasado domingo con grande éxito. Este triunfo debeuse novamente ao coidado dunha programación chea de atractivos, tanto na parte competitiva coma na elección de importantes actividades paralelas. Boa proba diso foi a proxección de 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒐 (2025) na primeira xornada, gozando da calor do público. O resto de días non foron menos intensos e representativos. Toda unha serie de convidados ilustres lograron manter o nivel ben alto, sendo este tamén o ano cun maior número de personalidades. O xoves destacou coa presenza das cineastas e animadoras 𝗥𝗲́𝗸𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝘀𝗶 e 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱, cuxa charla formaba parte do 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗼 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿. O venres foi a quenda dos distintos artistas que integraban o 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲, pensado para a promoción do talento nacional, no que participaron 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗔́𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗥𝗲𝘆, 𝗚𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼 e o colectivo galego 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘄𝗻. A charla que mantiveron cos membros do pódcast 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂 𝗗𝗶𝗯𝘂 queda para o recordo como un dos mellores momentos do festival no apartado divulgativo. Finalmente, o sábado foi o gran día reservado ao padriño do festival, que este ano recaeu no insigne creador 𝗦𝘆𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁. Como cada ano, o padriño subiu ao atril para pronunciar a tradicional masterclass, ademais da obrigada retrospectiva ao seu traballo, que incluía a súa última produción 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒍 𝒆𝒕 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒆𝒖𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒐𝒍 (2025), en estrea galega, e a inesquecible 𝑩𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒅𝒐𝒔 𝒂 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆 (2003), proxectada días atrás, cuxo visionado demostrou que segue tan fresca coma no momento da súa estrea. Garip by @altingunband Out now on all platforms! Words below from the band: This album is a tribute to Turkish Folk legend Nesat Ertaş (1938-2012). Ertas was a revered and much-loved Turkish singer, lyricist and bağlama player, and a modern-day embodiment of the ancient ashik tradition of the folk-bard-troubadour. Throughout his long career, he recorded more than 30 albums and wrote hundreds of songs. We are grateful to have his families blessing to record his songs and share our interpretations of some of our favorites from his repertoire. We hope you like it, enjoy listening!
