Welcome to the Fishbowl . . . Day 15-23 That’s a WRAP on Welcome to the Fishbowl! It’s been so much fun to line produce my first feature film here in CO! (#3 total!) We put together an incredible crew that made the days go faster and ensured that we got everything we needed. The out of town cast raved about our crew here in CO and what a lovely group of professionals we have! I can’t wait for more people to know this! This film has been a labor of love by everyone involved and this crew really showed up! I can’t thank everyone enough! 23 days, 21 locations, driving shots, kids, dogs, fish, horses, outdoors, indoors, roadside, mountains, stunts, long hours, not enough money, not enough time, a wack-a-doo schedule to accommodate some schedule limitations, you name it, we probably handled it. With a lesser crew this movie would have crumbled many times over! Thank you everyone! That’s a wrap! First time on set with an art department, creating beautiful sets for a feature film. This world is still so new to me, but it never fails to humble me and inspire me when I get the privilege to work alongside such incredible artists. We are all one massive Barbie trudging toward our pink palaces, our #dreamhouse destinations, our blond bubblebaths. It was beautifully surreal getting to go to an advanced screening of @barbiethemovie with my crew at Mattel! To see a lot of the faces I work with in this setting was meta and truly ding donging! To sit with @oliviergagnon and @luckycharr during the movie felt right, as they pioneered toy play content at Mattel and welcomed me into this company and held my hand and were my friend as i learned the ropes! I never could have imagined I was going to be here at the age of 30. As an only child i was obsessed with toys and making stories up and collecting them - it feels just too good to be true for me that I get to be around toys all the time now. Over the last 6ish years I’ve worked for Mattel as a child hand model, puppeteering barbies and other mattel toys for their video and commercial content. Now I work as a Doll Stylist and sometimes set dresser/prop fabricator at Mattel, making things look pretty and sometimes fierce (if its for WWE) Anyway just thought i’d share some of my joy wowow Also this Barbie outfit i should post a whole separate fashion video about highlighting all the artists that made stuff in it!
