We had a wonderful opening reception last night with 3/5 of the curators behind What We Do After; CAPP New Arrivals in attendance!

From left to right, Isabella Chilcoat (@isabellachil_ ), Alicia Perkovich (@aliciaperkovich ), & Raphael Ukpelegbu (@raphh_u ).

The other 2 curators that were abroad for the opening, but present in spirit are Rae Leonberger (@annie_leo_ ), and Emily Boa (@emilybboa ).

These 5 students served as committee members for the 2022-23 Contemporary Art Purchasing Program (CAPP) (@umd.capp ) cycle. In this year long program, they worked diligently to research, defend, and purchase artworks to build the vibrant body of art in the Stamp Student Union (@thestampumd) !

See the exhibition of these newest additions to this teaching collection at the Stamp Gallery (@stampgalleryumd ):
Monday-Thursday 10-8pm
Friday 10-5pm

Final advisory board meeting ✔️

Last Wednesday we presented our proposed acquisitions to our advisory board and it was a complete success! Next steps are deciding where all of our works will go in Stamp and planning the exhibition of our acquisitions 😇
