Day 3. Calm Lab from last night, a topic I’ve been thinking of is Self Awareness. I used in Kanework to be aware of my body and where the Kane is, as well as in my social life, trying to be fluid in conversations and understanding others around me.

•Kane Lesson #7:”Ankle Transition” A.K.A
The Ankle Whip”•
•
•The easiest way to get into kanework is learning simple Kane moves to help bridge the gap! Let’s add something new to your bag.•
•
•The Ankle Transition/Ankle Whip is a transitional leg move that helps you move between different zones/levels. When spinning, try to move simultaneously between the zones to create a smoother, more effective flow.•
•
•In all honesty, I had to ask around to see if there was a name for it, and for the most part, I was told it’s mainly just a transition.•
•
•The caveat to this move: pay close attention to the width of your ankle and the width of your hook. Depending on how narrow your hook is, the move can be slow, fast, or not work at all.•
•
•From beginners to even notable Kane Masters, simple Kane moves can be done and make the ladies and crowd pay attention.•

“KANE-MAN” an animated series…♦️

“Kane” is an original character created by NUPE artist @raphmc2, who has spent years bringing the Bond to life through comic book covers, illustrations, and original characters inspired by our culture.

After nearly a year of work, that vision has evolved into animation. Using the signature flow of KaneMaster @tremilli_13 as inspiration, he created something we’ve never seen before.

Huge shoutout to this Brother pushing creativity in a new direction. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what he brings to life next. 🖐🏾×3

Black History ✊🏾 lives in every form, every shade, every shape, every story….From the shows 📺 we grew up on to the culture 🕺🏽 we still carry, our presence has always been woven into pop culture.

We flipped some familiar faces and gave them a NUPE POV; not to blur history, but to highlight it‼️ Strength. Discipline. Hard work. Brotherhood. Messages we’ve carried, lifted, and passed down generation after generation.

Black people don’t look one way. NUPEs don’t move one way. But the legacy? That’s always recognizable. ♦️✊🏾
