krby – 6 (EP review)

This EP is some of krby’s best work yet and it really shows his versatility. 6 tracks, all produced by boolymon.

If you don’t know, krby is out of Colorado and runs with boolymon and perubaby, who are both fire on their own. Those three and a few others have this fast-cadence, can-barely-understand-the-lyrics style on booly beats, and it goes crazy.

I’ve been listening to krby for about a year and a half and he just keeps getting better. He started off with more of a boolymon sound, but now he’s really expanding what he can do vocally and it hits. He’s not the next anybody. He’s got his own unique sound and he really knows what sounds good.

thinspo is probably my favorite. Usually he’s rapping about drugs n shit, but lately he’s been getting into more emo shit, which I always love.

Also he’s a funny ass dude and the mustache is epic.

Imma be a krby fan 4L. Can’t wait for whatever’s next, and I’ll keep running his music daily. This man really got the sauce. Tap in if you haven’t already.
