I recently made the key artwork of Robot Rhapsody, a JRPG now live on Kickstarter! I love the genre and I can't thank enough being part of such an inspired game. I'll be posting more applications of the artwork I do in the future :) #robotrhapsody #jrpg #indiegames #scifi

#jrpg #gaming #gamer #japan #belovedrapture #recensione #collezionismo #steam #videogame #jrpg🗡️ #jrpgaleague #jrpggames #playstation #xbox #switch

🎮 Indie Game of the Week 🎮 This week we’re spotlighting a heartfelt indie gem that blends the nostalgic soul of classic JRPGs with a beautifully modern, queer narrative: 🔥🗡️ Beloved Rapture by @rapturousstudio and @2leftthumbs Set in a world teetering on the edge of spiritual collapse, Beloved Rapture invites players into an emotional journey full of mystery, examinations on faith and morality, and meaningful human connection. It’s got everything fans of traditional turn-based RPGs could want, but with a tender, contemporary heart at its core 💖 Even better? It features a canon romance between the two male leads Johan and Aiden, told with care, nuance, and emotional weight. No subtext, no ambiguity, just authentic queer storytelling in a genre that’s long overdue for it 🏳️‍🌈 It’s no surprise it’s been nominated for Best LGBTQ+ Indie Game 2025 by @gaymingmag! Don't miss the Gayming Awards, streaming July 8. 🕯️ Classic turn-based JRPG mechanics 🎭 A rich, character-driven narrative 💔 Explore themes of grief, faith and identity 💘 Canon gay romance front and center 🌌 Atmospheric pixel art and moody synth soundtrack 🏳️‍🌈 Created by a queer-led team This Pride Month, we’re all about honoring games that dare to be vulnerable, and this one wears its heart proudly on its sleeve 🫶 #thegamehers #tgh #indiegame #indiegameoftheweek #belovedrapture #jrpg #gaymingawards #queergames #pridemonth #lgbtgames #indierpg #rpglover #gayromance #queerstories #indiedev #gamerecommendation #gaming

🇬🇧 After playing the demo for 3 hours, "Beloved Rapture" showed itself as a heavily story-driven JRPG like the big classics, with a dark and mature plot that promises many plot-twists, some of which already present in the demo (but I won't spoil them). The game begins with a short, skippable promo where we embody Aiden, a young man instructed to kill a man dressed in black with which he had a bond of strong friendship... and something more. At the end of the fight we'll turn back in time of 100 days embodying Johan, a youngster that, on his 18th birthday, prepares to face a trial to leave his native village. Although disappointed to miss his friend, Zach gives him a family sword, the Amaterasu, helping him to train. But that night something happens in the village and Johan will chase a group of sinister guys. The music is really good, the combats are turn-based and the pixel-art is lovely. Highly recommended! Altamente consigliato! #belovedrapture #rapturousstudio🎧 #rapturousstudio #2leftthumbs #indiegame #rpg #rpgs #jrpg #jrpgs #steam #videogame #videogames #gdr #videogioco #videogiochi
