Whilst @rapunzelstudios is busy mixing the album, I took the opportunity to do some more songwriting with @lukasdrinkwater - we’ve been working on a couple of new songs! It’s my favourite part of the whole musical process, when you breathe life into something brand new and the creative sparks fly ✨ #newmusic #singersongwriter #folksinger #folkmusic #independentartist

So pleased and proud to be able to share my song Who Cares has been featured on @putumayo_world_music latest CD “Acoustic Journeys” - the theme of the record is “Turn down the noise, and let these songs do the talking”, it’s about what happens when you strip everything down to what matters most; which it isn’t a tour of any one place. It’s a tour of a feeling.” For me, this feature and song placement is extra special and poignant in its timing in light of the loss of @glenhansard , who without ever knowing, inspired me to write in this way - it gave me permission to sing, write and perform exactly as you are. To let the feelings be the force and music is the communicator. 🤍 Link in bio to get your copy 💿🌍 Available now to buy! #singersongwriter #folkmusic #originalmusic #originalsong #folksinger

⭐Fasten your seat belts !⭐ WOW WEEEE what a review! Just a few people who know my music have listened so far and Jim has taken the time to really listen and get into the tracks, for which I'm so grateful! 👉So here is the first review of the forthcoming 'The Circles Of The Grain' 📢PRE ORDER NOW 📢 https://sarahyeosings.bandcamp.com/album/the-circles-of-the-grain ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sarah Yeo – The Circles of the Grain A Worthy Successor to The Wisdom of the Wind I count myself extremely fortunate to have been entrusted with an advance copy of Sarah Yeo's forthcoming album, The Circles of the Grain, ahead of its release on 4th September. I've been fortunate enough to follow Sarah's musical journey for many years now, so receiving an advance copy of a new album is both a privilege and a responsibility. Following The Wisdom of the Wind was never going to be an easy task. That 2024 release was an exceptional collection of fourteen beautifully crafted songs and, for me, one of the finest singer-songwriter albums to emerge from the South West in recent years. Naturally, I wondered how Sarah could possibly follow it. What I've learned over the years, though, is never to underestimate Sarah Yeo as a songwriter. The answer, as it turns out, is not by trying to recreate it. The Circles of the Grain is a different album. More intimate. More rooted in folk. More stripped back. Throughout much of the record it's simply Sarah's wonderful voice accompanied by her acoustic guitar, allowing the songwriting to take centre stage. That isn't a criticism – quite the opposite. Sarah possesses one of those voices that never needs to fight for attention. It carries emotion effortlessly, and the sparse arrangements allow every lyric to breathe. Having spent many weeks immersing myself in these thirteen songs, I can honestly say I love this album. Like all the best albums, it reveals a little more of itself with every listen. #Singersongwriter #review #albumproduction #acoustic #martinguitars #shubbcapo #femalevocal #voices #lovesongwriting #tour
