JINX appreciation post 💪🏼

How do I post about Nick Offerman without gushing?!?

He is kind , generous and deeply considerate- not to mention talented and HILARIOUS!

The character of Jinx required a lot of depth and warmth, dealing with very emotional and raw moments.

When designing this look we knew honesty and sensitivity needed to play along side a tough exterior. Working with Nick we decided on a fohawk cut, due to its versatility. Depending on the scene and emotional state of the character the hair could be styled with structure or allowed to be natural and soft.
We brought on @ronaldgraves to barber Nick once a week. I maintained and freshened up the cut and styled him throughout the season.

NOW let’s talk about the wrestling look. @jaimeleigh.hair , who NEVER misses an opportunity to create a mullet 🤣- designed, colored & cut the Jinx wig.
It was customized and re-fronted by @raqb_wigs to help create the unique style- using the sides of Nick’s own hair the blend and fit had to be perfect.
Then JL and I teamed up on the application and finishing touches.

Nick’s absolute dedication to Jinx was inspiring. His ability to transform took our work (and that Mullet) to another level.

The amazing makeup for Jinx -in his full wrestling look -was designed and applied by our fabulous Makeup Department Head @erinayanianmonroe .
For Jinx’s everyday looks I collaborated with the wonderful makeup artist @micheleteleis .

The world of Jinx would not be complete without our incredible costume designer @mirrengc !
