Brides to be!! THIS is what authentic storytelling looks like. The Reality TV style provides the opportunity to capture confessionals, candid dialogue, and raw moments in order to have your unique story told and unfold right before your eyes long after the day has concluded. The wedding day goes by QUICKLY. Do not be one of the many brides that regret not having their day captured. This is why couples drive 6 hours to elope here. Death Valley doesn’t look real in photos. It doesn’t look real in person either. The badlands at Zabriskie Point roll out in gold and cream and blush like someone painted them to match a bridal palette. And at sunset? The sky does that thing where it goes peach and lavender at the same time, and you stop talking. We build Death Valley bouquets a little differently: dried and preserved stems only (fresh florals don’t survive the heat or the drive), warm neutrals that echo the landscape instead of competing with it, and hand-dyed silk ribbon that catches the wind up on the ridge. Elopements here are quiet. They’re a little wild. And they are absolutely worth the drive. Planning a desert elopement in 2027? Our calendar for Death Valley and Eastern Sierra dates is open now! Their entire reception fit on one picnic blanket, and we LOVE it! 😍🤩😍 Proof that a reception doesn’t need a ballroom. It needs a plan. Here’s what a two-person reception looked like in the middle of Death Valley: a vintage floral rug, cushions with tiny felt marigolds, a low picnic table, quiche and berries and olive oil, a bottle of bubbly, and a single naked cake we topped with dried banksia, bleached fern, and silver brunia to match the bouquet. Then they fed each other cake with the whole canyon as the backdrop. Same tradition. Wildly different view. The florals tie every piece of it together, from the bouquet resting on the cushions to the cake topper to the boutonniere still pinned on. That’s the thing about a well-planned elopement: it never feels sparse, it feels intentional. No aisle. No chairs. Just two vow books and a canyon. When you elope, the ceremony gets stripped down to the only part that ever mattered: the words. “To my husband.” “To my wife.” Handmade paper, hand-stitched spines, silk ribbon in the same warm taupe as the bouquet wrap. We styled the vow books right into the florals because when there’s no ceremony arch, no altar, and no petal-lined aisle, the details you do bring carry all the weight. The bouquet was the ceremony backdrop. The canyon walls were the guests. Honestly, some of our favorite ceremonies are the ones where it’s just the two of them, a couple of vendors, and a whole lot of open space. Tell us, would you elope in Death Valley? It’s so dreamy!👇 Dress: @allurebridals Dress Boutique: @trudysbrides Suit: @jimsformalwear Suit Rental: @thebridalvaultco Photography: @lovewildly Florals & Design @sweetlilacsstudio Cake: @3layeredcakes Luxury Catering: @perfectdaycatering Makeup Artist: @taylorgresenmckenzie Hair Artist: @raquelhightower Hair & Makeup Agency: @paperbagbeauty Picnic Blanket: @wanderingfolk Rentals: @bluelupines_ Invitation Suite: @mintedweddings Couple: @kiauna_li

Dried florals don’t have to look flat 🧡 Here’s the trick… Everyone thinks “dried bouquet” means beige and one-note. This one says otherwise. The secret is contrast in three places: texture, tone, and movement. We layered wispy bleached bunny tails and pampas against the chunky, sculptural weight of dried banksia. Cream ruscus and lunaria (those papery silver “coins”) let the light through, while deep rust amaranthus grounds the whole thing so it doesn’t wash out against the desert. A few pops of raw cotton and dried nigella pods give the eye somewhere to land. Then we let the pale amaranthus trail long so the bouquet moves when she does. His boutonniere pulls the same rust and cream story into a tiny 5-inch version: silver brunia, bleached ruscus, and a hit of that same burnt-orange dried texture, tied off in silk. Rule of thumb: if every stem is the same color and the same weight, it’s a bundle, not a bouquet. Not every couple dreams of a ballroom. Some choose a speakeasy bar with such better design. They exchanged vows with a wall of spirits as their backdrop, walked through a shower of rose petals, & toasted with signature cocktails named after the stories only their closest friends know. No details were missed. One of my favorite parts of the day was when our bride gifted the groom a custom embroidered jacket with their wedding date in it. A gift you’ll get to remember for & of course made sure he looked the strapest in the room. Standard black tie just wasn’t going to cut it for the late night party! Cake by candlelight, an ice sculpture that outdid most people’s centerpieces, & one hell of a dance floor that lasted all night long. #EastCoastWeddingPlanner #NYCWeddingVenue #EastCoastBride #ManhattanWedding #NortheastEventDesign East Coast wedding planner, New York City bar wedding venue, Manhattan luxury wedding design, East Coast editorial wedding, Northeast speakeasy-style reception Planning, Styling & Design: @emberandstoneevents Venue, Catering & Beverage: @legacyclubvegas Decor Rentals: @alterdesignhouse Photography: @erinmarie.photos Videography: @madisonhafenfilms Cake: @lasvegascustomcakes Florals: @livelybloom.co Makeup: @caro_leena Hair: @raquelhightower Live Music: @premiereweddingmusic Cold Sparks: @knightsoundslv DJ: @eccentrikevents Rentals & Linens: @rsvppartyrentals Invitations & Stationery: @studio.sanchez Cigar Roller: @cigarbella Ice Luge: @icestudiovegas Bride’s Dress: @lovelybridechicago @rosieetiennebridal Groom’s Attire: @bowtiestuxedo Rings: @questfinejewelers Round cake table with a white tiered wedding cake, surrounded by red roses and lit taper candles against a dark velvet backdrop.
