The 2006 Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster, chassis LA01970, combines Lamborghini’s first-generation open-top V12 flagship with a six-speed manual transmission. Finished in Arancio Atlas over a Black and Orange Bi-Sportivo interior featuring Arancio Mira accents, this example belongs to the original Murciélago Roadster series, introduced following the Barchetta concept’s presentation at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. Designed by Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini’s head of design from 1998 to 2005, the Murciélago succeeded the Diablo and became the first all-new Lamborghini developed under Audi ownership. Its 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V12 traces its engineering lineage to the twelve-cylinder architecture that had powered Lamborghini’s flagship models since the 1960s. Producing approximately 571 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, the engine drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and a permanent all-wheel-drive system. The chassis employs independent double-wishbone suspension, while the body incorporates extensive carbon fiber construction alongside aluminum scissor doors and a steel roof structure on the coupe. The Roadster received revised rear bodywork and engine-cover detailing, with structural reinforcement compensating for the removal of the fixed roof. The manually fitted fabric soft top was intended primarily for temporary weather protection, and Lamborghini advised against exceeding 100 mph with it installed. It’s believed that just 38 first-generation Murciélago Roadsters were built with the six-speed manual, distinguishing this specification from cars equipped with the optional E-Gear automated manual. Factory equipment on LA01970 includes 18-inch Hercules wheels, a front-axle lift system, a speed-activated rear spoiler, leather upholstery, sport seats, air conditioning, and the manual soft top. A Kreissieg cat-back exhaust system is the listed modification. With its documented chassis identity, distinctive factory color combination, open-top bodywork, and three-pedal V12 configuration, this Murciélago represents a particularly specific and uncommon variation of Lamborghini’s original flagship of the Audi era.

Shown here is a stunning 2015 McLaren P1 GTR-18 (SBM12ABA8FW000335), 1 of just around 2 total P1 GTR examples that were comprehensively and strategically reengineered in this layout by Lanzante, which is out of 438 total examples of the P1 believed to have been built across all variants, including 375 road cars, and 6 LM examples. This particular example is finished in ‘McLaren Orange’ and made its global debut during the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The dramatic long tail design on the GTR-18 allows for 40% more downforce, and on top of that, the car is also equipped with a unique suspension, interior, and exhaust system. The P1 was first ever introduced in September of 2012 and was designed by both Robert Melville (McLaren’s former design director) & American/British automobile designer Frank Stephenson. The production-ready variant of the track-focused P1 GTR was first shown at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and features an 83 horsepower increase of the standard P1. As for this example shown here, it’s much more than just a standard P1, it’s a resurrection of the ‘GTR’ name is celebration of the companies 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans victory. The standard GTR variant features a race-prepared suspension, a massive fixed rear wing, and an exclusively designed exhaust made of titanium and inconel, plus much more. The Lanzante McLaren P1 GTR-18 was developed to celebrate the definitive 1997 McLaren F1 GTR race cars, whose longtail configuration evolved from the F1 GT road cars built to support homologation for competition. Taking the track-focused McLaren P1 GTR as its foundation, the GTR-18 features a larger front splitter, revised rear wing and pylons, an enlarged roof scoop, and louvered front fenders to increase aerodynamic performance, supported by suspension derived from the Lanzante P1 LM. Compared with the more road-oriented P1 GT, the GTR-18 adopts a more uncompromising specification, incorporating F1 GTR-style racing seats and harnesses, exposed carbon fiber, as well as deleted sound insulation.

Aston Martin Vulcan - With only 24 (minus one, iykyk) Vulcans worldwide, crossing paths with one is never an easy task. But finding two in the same room is commonplace with @kaaimansinternational! Unlike the sister car I shared a few days ago, this Vulcan does not feature the AMR Pro package. I think I prefer it this way, how about you? 💬👇

Pagani Utopia - Riding off the coattails of the Huayra BC from yesterday’s post is this wild Pagani Utopia! I’ve gotta say, I’m a big fan of the “Tron” spec trend if it’s done right. What about you? 💬👇

All right Bocca Motors is gonna restore this 1986 Lamborghini Joppa one of 410 units ever built. Stay tuned. We’re gonna bring the paint back to Life. We’re gonna bring the motor back to Life. We’re gonna bring the interior back to life and hopefully when it’s all said and done, we’ll rip it around on the streets for a quick drive. Stay tuned.#bethel #lamborghini #lamborghinijalpa

Pagani Huayra BC - Here is one of very few Huayra BCs that do not conform to either of the two traditional BC livery layouts… and what a spec it is!

What do you think? 💬👇
