Some lessons don’t stay buried just because we stopped talking about them. We inherit more than names, faces, and family stories. We inherit survival. We inherit memory. We inherit the weight of things people before us had no choice but to carry. A Lesson We Keep Burying comes from that place. The place where history stops feeling like something that happened “back then” and starts looking a little too familiar. The place where we have to ask how many times pain has to repeat itself before we stop calling it coincidence. It’s Time: A Scriptura Anthology is coming soon. Maybe it’s time we stop burying the lesson with the people who lived it. #ItsTimeAnthology #ScripturaAnthology #SouthernSeoulSpeaks #ALessonWeKeepBurying #ComingSoon

It’s Time. Time to question what we inherited. Time to revisit what we were taught. Time to ask who wrote the lesson, who benefited from it, and what got left out of the telling. What did they know before we had a name for it? Who taught them what we’re paying to learn again? How much of “new” is really something forgotten? And how many receipts have been sitting in history this whole time? 📖IT’S TIME: A Scriptura Anthology is coming this fall. This isn’t just a collection of words. It’s a return, a reckoning, and a reminder that some truths don’t disappear just because generations stop naming them. 🛍️Available soon for purchase. #ItsTimeAnthology #ScripturaAnthology #ComingThisFall #AnthologyComingSoon #WrittenToRemember

❤️The Reintroduction🎶 Love & Lyrics began on May 28, 2021, inside the rooms of Clubhouse but was never meant to stay there. What started as a space where poetry, music, conversation, and community could meet has grown into a brand built around creative freedom, authentic connection, and giving voices somewhere to be heard. Love & Lyrics is home to poets, writers, storytellers, musicians, creatives, and people who simply appreciate the power of words. We have had live conversations, writing challenges, showcases, interviews, open mics, special events, and creative collaborations, and we continue creating spaces where expression doesn’t have to fit inside one box. We also believe in showing up for the creative community beyond our own platform supporting poets and creatives by promoting their events, celebrating their features, and helping shine a light on the work they do. Our mission hasn’t changed we’re still more interested in being impactful than popular. We believe creativity can inspire, challenge, heal, connect, and sometimes simply give someone a place to exhale. This isn’t just poetry. It isn’t just music and it definitely isn’t just Clubhouse anymore. This is Love & Lyrics. Where Words Have Freedom. Whether you’ve been here since the first room in 2021 or you’re just discovering us… WELCOME HOME. ❤️ #LoveAndLyrics #WhereWordsHaveFreedom #SupportCreatives #PoetryCommunity #CreativeCommunity

What if healing happened, and the pain still had something to say? Rare Epiphany’s “WHY DOES IT STILL HURT SO MUCH?” refuses the tidy version of recovery. The question underneath the poem is deeper than pain: Why do we understand lingering pain in the body so easily, yet question it everywhere else? Rare’s piece gives survival room to be complicated. Featured in It’s Time: Notes from the End of Patience. Coming this Fall. #RareEpiphany #ItsTimeAnthology #WhyDoesItStillHurtSoMuch #HealingIsComplicated #ChronicPainAwareness Rare Epiphany anthology, pain after healing, chronic illness poetry, cancer recovery poetry, surgical recovery, grief in the body, disability and identity, body remembers trauma, survival after cancer, poetry about scars, lived experience poetry, Black women poets, contemporary poetry, It’s Time Notes from the End of Patience

The weekend of June 26-27, 2026, Volume One officially launched at the Beck Cultural Exchange Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, home to Nikki Giovanni’s personal library and archives. Contributors traveled from across the United States to celebrate the official launch of the Nikki Giovanni anthology series. @flipthescriptpub ***TO PRE-ORDER OR SUBMIT LINK IN PROFILE 🙏🏾💗🦋 Darling Nikki is a multi-volume anthology of poetry, essays, and visual art created in tribute to the enduring legacy of Nikki Giovanni—one of the most influential literary voices of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. For more than five decades, Giovanni’s work has shaped conversations about race, justice, love, community, and the transformative power of language. This anthology gathers emerging and established writers and artists whose work reflects the intellectual, emotional, and creative impact of Giovanni’s life and career. The collection brings together a wide range of forms—including poetry, personal essays, experimental texts, and visual artwork—to celebrate the many ways Giovanni’s voice continues to inspire new generations of creators. The project is conceived not only as a memorial tribute but also as an offering: a gathering of works that speak to the vitality of Giovanni’s legacy and the communities of writers, readers, and thinkers who have been shaped by her presence in American literature. 🎤: Luxury Poem-Nikki Giovanni. #loveartlifetv #lalvoices #lal #writingismedicine @shannatmeltonarts @billholmes327 @rareepiphany @m_a_dennis575 @bklynndahse🙏🏾🦋💗
