Crazy to think my album already been out for a whole ass year considering the 4 years it took to me to make it with my homies here in Chicago. Before I made this project I remember being so full of regret & an anger from all the things I had to suffer because of the car accident that happened to me as a kid, which took 5 surgeries & 20 years to recover from. That coupled with all the decisions I considered "bad" up until the making of the album had me thinking I was never gonna catch up on all the time I missed. Even got to a point where I felt like life had passed me by before I could even start the race from literally/figuratively not being able to stand on my own two for so many years. I'm now speaking from the perspective of a man that put out a dream that he had since he was a kid playing "The College Dropout" in the van with his Mom. To be honest I would go through what I been through 100 times in a row if it meant making this album again at the end of it all because I've realized God kept me alive to share my story with the world. & now that the album is done it feels like my suffering is done too. I used to ask God why would he put me through this shit but if it wasn't for what happened I would've never made music probably and for that I'm forever grateful. Thank you to brothers that stuck it out with me especially @djeway & @ras_yahsh E did most of the production on the album & Yahsh helped me record, mix & master like 95% of the album. If you haven't tapped in yet idk what to tell you but Chicago hasn't had an album this good in a long ass time, I'm up next trust. So if you wanna see Chicago win go stream my debut album, my baby, my everything, "Story Of A Champion" 🏆🏃🏽‍♂️💽🏁🌟

"STORY OF A CHAMPION"
My debut album out now on all DSP's

I worked on this album harder than anything I've ever worked on in my life. I remember as a kid listening to albums like The College Dropout or Food & Liquor praying I'd one day have a project anywhere near those to be proud of. I finally made the album I always dreamed of making all those years ago. A lot of people don't know this but I was hit by a car as a kid crossing the street in a hit & run accident at 10 years old. It's not something I tell a lot of people or feel comfortable speaking on but I feel like it's important for y'all to know what happened. Twenty years & 5 surgeries later I'm almost fully recovered from the accident. Some would take what happened and use it as an excuse to let it stop them from aspiring to be something greater than what life dealt them. If I've learned anything from what happened to me it's that there's nothing that can hurt me more or feel worse than the pain I suffered for 20 years and I've come too far to give up. I wanna thank My Mom who took care of me through all of those surgeries & doctor visits at the hospital, I love you & thank you for never giving up on me. Everything happens for a reason & maybe I would've never made this album if things were different but I'm glad life turned out how it did.

I wanna give a special thanks to my brother @djeway for producing the most songs on the album + helping me throughout the whole process of making it. I appreciate you putting up with my hard headed ass, sorry for driving you crazy 😂 love you gang

Also wanna give special thanks to @ras_yahsh
For helping me record, mix & master the project almost entirely at rcm. I love you & appreciate you for helping me get this album right bro.

Lastly I wanna thank all the other artists & producers that helped on the project as well:
