Scenes from the DMTB release show last Friday—thank you for making it one of the most special nights in Rascal Records history.

The record is one week old now. We hope you’re loving it as much as we do.

Next up is a show at Smog with the incredible @estherkohl and @jo.sisak on September 18th. See you there 🫶

“Don’t Mind the Body” is out everywhere now. We took it on the road for 2,800 miles.

It’s a record about highways, infinite transitory periods, the desire to move forward, and finding comfort in staying still.

Nowhere to be, all day to get there

“Hot Plate” is out next Friday, August 21st — this is the final single from Don’t Mind the Body. We put a lot of love into this one. I’m tempted to say “this song is about…” but we’ll let you decide for yourselves. It’s a sort of thesis statement, maybe. Pre-save in bio.

Hitting the road next week for tour. New bumper sticker on the tour machine is our motto. We passed inspection.

RSVP to our release show if you haven’t already. Who can say no to one dollar beer?

More to come. Xoxo

Engineered by Teddy and @julianfconte
And as always, artwork by the wonderful @katrijnoelbrandt who brought the visual world of this record to life

Footage filmed mostly by @miller.aggie from the Rascal Records summer tour almost two years ago. Maybe this is a hint.

The first l__evi show 🏯 it’s a golden hour shindig at the beautiful and historic @urbane_brooklyn with legends Oblivion 0f oren ( @orb.low ) and Invisible Guy ( @ben_goldberg_bag ). The venue is a 19th century victorian mansion that was a speakeasy during prohibition and I couldn’t be more excited to debut the new project here.

Full disclosure: the all-star l__evi band personnel is nearly identical to that of the last project that shall not be named, which, to some, might make the “first show” claim seem a little dubious. In an attempt to cover for this, we will be playing mostly new material. I also heard we all have to play in different rooms… idk if it’s true. Tickets are online now on the urbane arts club website.

I made the flyer with some crayons and paper i found on the street and my trusty x-acto. Hmu if you want a flyer or something else, I still have some paper/motivation left
