The drills in this video is great for flyers wanting to learn a full twisting layout in baskets.

Step 4 to 6 is almost the same as in part 1 but now you start with your arms down and a slight bend in your knees. It’s important to get into the straight position where you lock out your knees and get your arms above your head before executing the skill.

Once you can do a proper full to prone with the correct arm movements you can start working on your layout. When you have a solid layout with a good set, you can start adding the same arm movement to the layout to do a full.

Make sure to always have a spotter and be safe. Let me know if you have any questions.

The drills in the video is great for flyers wanting to learn a full twisting layout in baskets.

1. Start in the basket with straight legs and arms above your head. In the beginning of the throw start by doing a big reach and once you feel the rotation do a sharp «T» motion. Make sure you brace your core and keep your head natural.

2. Do the same start as the first drill, but when you fell the rotation drop only one arm to the side. If you spin to the left then you should drop your left arm and vice versa. It’s important that the arm goes straight to the side, your body is straight and head natural.

3. Do the same beginning as the second drill, but now you gone drop both arms. It’s important that you don’t drop them at the same time. If you spin to the left you should start by dropping your left arm, this will start the twist and the second arm will help you spin faster.

Let me know if you have any questions!
