Some of the world's best aerial surfers going big on nor'easter sections at the @tommytant Tow at Expression Session yesterday. So fun to watch, huge airtime by @ryanhuckabee1 some perfect landings by @rastaaarobbb but I was most amazed by that smooth backside air by @carlburger_

Enter the Dragons

The second batch of invitees for Stab High China, presented by @monsterenergy, have landed.

Of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac, the Dragon is widely considered the most coveted. A symbol of power, prosperity, ambition, and good fortune. So desirable, in fact, that Dragon years have historically inspired baby booms.

Unlike the other 11 signs, the Dragon is also the only creature that doesn’t actually exist. Which feels appropriate for a competition built around doing things that shouldn’t be possible.

Here are seven fire-breathing, high-flying reptiles (born in 1988, 2000, and 2012) joining us in the pool.

One of the longest-standing surf traditions in Florida—a premier community surf contest on the East Coast

In the wake of loss, a local high school marketing class proposed a memorial surf contest—and from that grief, a lasting tradition was born. Every fall, “The Tommy” draws surfers, families, and spectators to Flagler Beach for the long-awaited three-day gathering. This year will be 24 years in the making.

After a long hiatus, the Tow-At is BACK!

Saturday at the Tommy, Robbie McCormick, Ryan Huckabee, and Carl Burger, hometown pros and some of the best aerialists, will get whipped into waves at speeds up to 35+ mph and launched sky-high for an air show rare for Flagler Beach.

Robbie Goodwin will skillfully man the ski.

All four are part of the first class of our Fellows Program, making this an extra special demonstration of why we back them.

Presented by Craeft Surf Studio, the Tow-At goes down at the Flagler Beach Pier, right after the contest.

So here are the real questions: Who will send it bigger, and who will stick the landing? 👀 Gotta be there to find out!
