WHEN TWO POETIC JOURNEYS COLLIDE… 🌎🇯🇲🇨🇦

A powerful moment in Canada 🇨🇦 as Toronto Poet Laureate Lillian Allen met with Craig A. Kirkland aka Amaziyah The Great at the Toronto Poetry Festival 2026, Taylor Creek Park.

Two authors.
Two powerful voices.
One Jamaican root — Spanish Town, Jamaica. 🇯🇲

From Spanish Town to Toronto, Rhode Island and beyond, both have carried Jamaican creativity, poetry and culture onto the global stage.

Different journeys. Same roots. One powerful legacy.

The journey continues…
We never stop! ✊🏾📚🔥
