Mid-month Halloween New England spent the afternoon in Hartford, CT at The Bizarre Bazaar, a free outdoor artisan market celebrating all things creepy, unusual, and delightfully peculiar. This was their first time marking the “halfway-to-spooky-season” with this beloved event.

Set against the backdrop of State House Square Plaza and adjacent to ongoing America’s 250th anniversary festivities, the Bizarre Bazaar hosted dozens of local artists, makers, and horror-inspired vendors showcasing everything from creepy collectibles, gothic upcycled fashion, dark photography, vintage goodies, handcrafted décor, original artwork, freaky gifts, and spooky creations. The atmosphere perfectly captured that “halfway to Halloween” energy with a crowd of fellow Halloween lovers embracing the strange together.
Events like this are always a reminder that Halloween vibes in New England are a year-round passion for so many of us.

🍁 SAVE THE DATE for the autumn return of The Bazaar Bazaar on Saturday, Sept. 12th Noon-4pm in Hartford, CT. This FREE event is an all-ages treat!

TEAM Zambia 2025! What an exceptional group of people to work with💚. Throughout the week, the team would make comment about how quickly the children warmed up, but it is no surprise why that happened. This team opened their hearts fully to the children, making them feel safe and loved from day 1. The kids felt that and mirrored that love. Grateful to have so many selfless and committed individuals who are willing to share their hearts, their time, their skills, and their LIFE with children in need. Thank you team Zambia 2025💚

As we head back home, we reflect on a most profound week. Our incredible team of 20 that gave with every ounce of their hearts. Zambia is such a beautiful country, and its people are so warm and grateful. We will carry each child’s story, smile, victory, and heart with us as we head back home. Thank you @cure_zambia for making your home our home. We love you all. 💚

Does your leather hat match your seats? Massive thanks to @ratbearhandmade for “doing it anyway,” and making it sick.

@ratbearhandmade will be joining us June 24th at the Misfit Makers Market!

As an artist who's had a focus of custom five panel hats, they've recently gotten into resin toy making and have been putting a lot of effort into learning that craft - be sure to check out a the newness at the booth!
