Black Swan Dallas🥹💕
My heart, my home away from home, my community.
November 5th will be my last class because I AM THE NEW CITY MANAGER FOR BSY ARIZONA 🏜️

I am so excited for this next chapter and am so happy to make this move, but it is bittersweet leaving Dallas. The main reason we even decided to move to the city was because going to Black Swan was the main thing I did post covid😅 The community and friends my husband and I have made here are something we are so thankful for. Y’all have let me be my most authentic self, helped me grow as a person, a teacher and a student, been there for me through so many huge life events and been a space where I can feel safe. There are countless memories I have and I’m tearing up even just making this, but what I will always remember is this past year. Earlier this year when I went through the sudden loss of my grandparents, y’all not only checked in on me, but gave me all the love, covered my classes, kept Bishop looking amazing, let me cry and made me smile again. Thank you for being like family, giving me a space to grow and evolve, but most importantly, thank you for letting me be a part of this magic. I love y’all forever.🤍

Tried to tag everyone but I am capped at 20, thank you friends, teachers and super swans for all the love, I’m going to add more to my stories🥹💕

You know that feeling when the music hits your body before your mind has time to figure out what to do?
That’s GROOVES.
Rhythm. Texture. Flow. Musicality. Style. Presence. Freedom.
This isn’t about learning how to look like me.
It’s about discovering how YOU move when you stop trying to get it “right” and actually start living inside the music.
For the next 4 weeks, I’m bringing some of the movement practices I’ve been developing into Contemporary Ballet Dallas, and I’m so excited to finally share them with you.
🔥 MONDAYS Somatics: Strength + Mobility 10:30–11:30 AM
Build a body that moves with you, not against you. Fascia-informed strength, mobility, coordination, stability and functional movement designed to help you feel stronger, freer and more connected inside your body.
💜 WEDNESDAYS Lyrical | 12:00–1:30 PM
Come live inside the music. Whitney. Celine. Adele. Big songs. Big feeling. Storytelling, musicality, vulnerability and movement that allows us to dance what words cannot say.
⚡️ GROOVES | 1:30–2:30 PM
House. Melodic. Soulful rhythms. Flow. Texture. Play.
We’re going to explore the places where rhythm lives in the body and give ourselves permission to develop our own style, artistry and movement language.
Move with strength. Dance with freedom. Perform with authenticity.

MYSTERION is four hours devoted to movement, connection, expression, play, prayer, healing, freedom and remembering what it feels like to be fully ALIVE.
