Last week I had the honor of joining my fellow @ulyppgh executive board members at the @urbanleaguepitt annual meeting. It was a fruitful evening of connection, celebration, and a reminder that work to strengthen our city may be challenging but it is well worth it.

For those who may not know me, I’m Rian-Louis McNeil, a Pittsburgh native, award-winning podcast host, creative, storyteller, and community advocate. In 2020, I created RIANOUTLOUD! Podcast with one mission: to amplify Black LGBTQ+ voices, stories, and experiences while creating a space where we can be seen, heard, celebrated, and unapologetically ourselves. What started as a passion project has grown into something bigger than I imagined. But my purpose remains the same: Giving people their flowers while they’re still here to receive them. And that’s exactly why I’m bringing you RIANOUTLOUD! ANOTHER LIVE EXPERIENCE! This is more than a live podcast. It’s about creating the spaces I wish we had more of in Pittsburgh. Spaces where Black LGBTQ+ creatives can connect, celebrate one another, and simply EXIST. As an independent Black queer creative, I know how challenging it can be to build something from the ground up, but I believe our community deserves these experiences. Our stories matter. Our creativity matters. WE MATTER. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ On October 17th, I’m bringing together some incredible individuals who deserve their flowers, and I want YOU in the room! 🎙️ RIANOUTLOUD! ANOTHER LIVE EXPERIENCE 📅 Saturday, October 17 ⏰ 6–10 PM 📍 @tlclibations 🎟️ $10 Tickets | Available now & at the door! Special thanks to our official sponsors: TLC Libations, @alliespgh , and @centraloutreach! RIANOUTLOUD! was never just about me having a microphone. It was about making sure people like us had one, too. Come celebrate with us!💥💥💥 #pittsburghevents #blacklgbtq #pittsburghcreative #livepodcast #pittsburghpodcast

I’m doing something a little outside of my comfort zone and reaching out to my community for support. 😅😅 I’m officially in the #TopHost contest with @iHeartRadio! 🎙️The winner receives $25K + a chance to guest host with @RyanSeacrest! From hosting my own podcast to panels, parties, corporate events, and live experiences, hosting has become such a huge part of who I am. This opportunity could help me grow RIANOUTLOUD!, expand my brand, and continue creating spaces that uplift and celebrate Black LGBTQ+ voices. You can vote FREE once every day, or purchase additional votes with proceeds supporting the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and its work bringing creative experiences to children in hospitals. We have until October 15th! Take two minutes, cast your vote, and share. The link is in my bio! Thank you to everyone supporting this dream. Let’s keep it going! 💥💥💥🧡 #tophost #iheartradio #podcaster #poscasthost
