If someone had told me a week ago that this booking would become one of the highlights of my year, I probably would have laughed.

I had no idea what to expect. And then, all of a sudden, I found myself playing in front of 1,500+ people at a free, open-air event in Bochum completely organized by volunteers and driven by pure passion.

From the very first track, one thing became clear: this wasn’t about the biggest stage or the most expensive production. It was about people coming together to share a moment through music. And that’s exactly what made this day so special.

Looking back, this was probably one of my favorite bookings of the year. It reminded me that the size of an event doesn’t determine how unforgettable it becomes. Sometimes, the most meaningful experiences happen when passionate people create something with heart.

Maybe even the biggest festivals could take something away from events like this: at the end of the day, it’s not the stages or the budgets that make an event unforgettable it’s the people, the atmosphere, and the passion behind it. 🖤🍣
