With a smile on my face the entire time..

Last year, I fell asleep while driving back home from a DJ gig…

The car flipped, and i was ejected.

I was left with countless broken bones, and most of the skin torn clean from my limbs.

I couldn’t move by myself for weeks, and couldn’t walk for months.

I couldn’t feed myself, dress myself, or even take a piss by myself… I had a mf catheter in for a month.

Do what followed was the biggest challenge of my life, but maybe the most worthwhile.

Doctors originally told me I would be in the hospital for three months and probably wouldn’t be able to walk for an entire year.

Instead, I said f*ck that. I left the hospital one month later, and was walking again within six months.

How..??

By having a positive mental attitude and never giving up on myself.

There were countless times when I doubted myself and wanted to throw in the towel…

Through difficult times, there’s this weird temptation to accept your situation and become comfortable/complacent with it.. to think as if “this is how it’s always going to be.”

Don’t fall into the trap. Your circumstances never have or will define you. YOU get to decide how you respond to adversity, & nobody else.. even when you’re not in control, you are.

Idk who needs to hear this, but grow tf up and stop making excuses like a little whiny b!tch.

You’re better than that.

I believe in you.
