A first of its kind.

Watching this back, I’m so proud of what we created with The Cutting Room.

The idea was to take everything that normally happens behind closed doors when making a record and put it in front of an audience. Starting with absolutely nothing and over the course of one night building a song, artwork and a moment that could only have happened with the people who were in that room.

No rehearsed outcome. No knowing where we’d end up. Just an incredible group of creatives, an audience willing to be part of the process and everyone working together to make something from nothing.

Getting to this night wasn’t straightforward at all. There were moments in the build-up where things changed, things fell through and I genuinely didn’t know how it was all going to come together.

But it did.

So much love to every single person who gave their time, talent and energy to make this Cutting Room what it was. From everyone who performed and created, to everyone who supported the idea and everyone who came through on the night. You all made it special.

It’s mad watching an idea that lived in my head become something real.

Now onto the next one! 🧡

2 weeks ago, we landed back home for the last date of the AirCon Tour. 🛬
Once again big up everyone who came out, @raisethebarmcr the team obviously, all the venues and staff, and of course the stellar in-flight entertainment in Leeds, Liverpool and sunneh Manchester 🎙️

They all tagged deh ⬆️, support your locals, independents, and your next favourite artists is in your ends, promise.

This was a first for myself and the gang, and every gap on this one will be brought back bigger and better for the next ting. Everytime I’m out now I’m sharing next music with a talented, committed and good-souled network of artists and people, so you can’t help but get better in this kind of environment.

That vault is stacking up and I look forward to the next time I can bring a lineup as fire as this one, bringing a load more elements to take everyone on another journey. I’ll get a bit better at celebrating too 🤞🏽

Peace n love always man. Thank you.

Stay hydrated.

Celebrating the AMAZING women who will be joining me at Sisters of Song on Sunday, I am so, so excited to share alongside these absolute CREATRIX women!

@nataliesyogajourney
Nat is a deeply authentic yoga teacher and mantra sharer, a true inspiration and beautiful human sharing her full journey to show these practices are for all.

@jade_heart
A powerful song sharer and practitioner of several healing tools (book a massage people!), Jade's songs are such anthems for a beautiful world.

@Kiyarrose
Kiya's light shines so brightly in every step she takes and even more so through her offerings, sharing her travel learnings and supporting community spirit beautifully.

@Gabriela_lionheart
Full power energy in curating safe spaces for women to release and explore their expression, Gabriela's voice soars and will inspire you to connect with your own too.

@Ravenradha
Raven is questioning reality. Having traveled the world from an early age, shaped by multiple cultures and countries, her perspective is idiosyncratic. Her project GASLIT is a journey from disillusionment to self-liberation, deeply heartfelt, lyrical and rhythmic. I first saw Raven share at the GGG a few years ago and she was full fire then so this is a dream to have her with us!

@hereatindigo

Our magical host venue has been our Wirral home since the very first Sisters of Song and we LOVE Indigo!! Delish food, impeccable atmosphere and the most gorgeous room for us to connect and drop into our expression!

Ticket options:
Full day (only 3 remaining) £55
Day only 11-4.30 £40
Evening concert only 5-8pm £15
(Jade Heart, Raven Radha, Bexi Owen + open floor)

Workshops and/ or performances from...

Raven Radha
Gabriela
Jade Heart
Kiya Rose
Natalie Reid
Bexi Owen

All in our fave Wirral space Indigo Venue, the home of Sisters of Song from our very first event and the most welcoming, beautiful place.

What an AMAZING day we have planned for you sisters!

TICKETS:
https://buytickets.at/sistersofsong/2197739
Early Songbird offer until 24th May.

Join us for a nourishing way into finding your expression and voice connection, held in sisterhood allowing you to gently lean into what it is you need to allow a deeper connection with your own creative vision.

Though there will be song, this is isn't necessarily about finding our singing voice. We all have different relationships with our voices and it may be that you are wishing to speak your truth more clearly or find your expression through your written voice. Come with curiosity, to explore and play into what you may need to feel more rooted in that expression.
