An unforgettable moment from MANA FC XII 🇹🇭🇳🇿 We were deeply honoured to welcome His Excellency Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to New Zealand, and the Royal Thai Embassy team to MANA FC XII. His Excellency’s presence highlighted the strong connection between Thailand and New Zealand through the art, culture, and sport of Muay Thai.  A special congratulations to Main Event Champion Ravyn Simpson, who was presented with her championship title by His Excellency following a tremendous performance in the ring. As promoters, we are proud to support opportunities that strengthen relationships between our countries while providing pathways for New Zealand athletes to connect with the birthplace of Muay Thai. Thank you to the Royal Thai Embassy for your support, friendship, and belief in the growth of Muay Thai in Aotearoa. 🙏🇹🇭🇳🇿 #MANAFC #royalthaiembassy #NZMF #WMC #IFMA

Ravyn Simpson Claims WMC New Zealand Title in Thrilling Five-Round Battle Ravyn Simpson claimed the WMC New Zealand title at MANA FC XII in the 55.34kg super bantamweight division after securing a hard-fought split-decision victory in a closely contested five-round battle against opponent Tairua Bracken. In a competitive encounter, Ravyn grew stronger as the fight progressed, building momentum with her sharp boxing skills, impressive combinations and well-timed elbows. Her performance reached another level in the third round, where she landed several heavy shots and began to make her mark on the contest. Both fighters showed determination and skill throughout the five rounds, keeping the contest close until the final bell. However, Ravyn's growing intensity and effective striking helped her earn the judges' split decision and secure the prestigious WMC New Zealand title. WMC and IFMA President Scotty Thompson praised the event, highlighting the atmosphere and the growing support for women's Muaythai. “It was another great event with a fantastic crowd getting behind the female fight. Women's Muaythai continues to develop, and we are on the right track. The support from the fans shows that the sport is moving in the right direction, and it is great to see athletes competing for prestigious titles like the WMC New Zealand championship.” #WMC #IFMA #NZMF
