Today is Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States. The holiday’s name, first used in the 1890s, refers to June 19, 1865, the day when Major General Gordon Granger ordered the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas at the end of the American Civil War.

There’s a place off Ocean Avenue…and it’s called Junipero Beach! “It’s not a phase Mom!” 🤣

Let’s roll with our inner Emo kid on 8 wheels as the sun sets in the LBC. All skill levels and all wheels welcome, always!

🐯Summerween Recap✨Follow @play.noice for future fun events/workshops. (Long post)
.
I taught a beginner choreo class of about 20 people & everyone did SO good! I got some great feedback on how to improve my teachings for next time. I’ve been rollerskating for about 4 years and I am in no means a teacher but I try my best. Thank yall for being patient with this nervous girl!
Thanks @rollercass for helping me with the lesson 🫶🏽✨ Thank you @wild_one_lb for helping me plan, practice and brainstorm, and also donating @beauty_by_wildone to my raffle!! 🌟
Thanks to all who showed up! If you missed this workshop, stay tuned for possible future workshops! 🛼💕✨
