Philly the portal is open for you too… catch us November 8th 7pm @prismartsphiladelphia 🕯️🥀

Join for an immersive ritual dance experience honoring the cross-quarter celebration of Samhain.

Samhain marks the time when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. A night to honor our ancestors, commune with the unseen, release what has reached its end, and step consciously into the darker half of the year.

We’ll enter a ceremonial space of movement, music and ritual. Our dance will become a doorway between worlds.

Featuring:

🌙 @roniitmusic bringing her witchy, ethereal vocals all the way from the West Coast, weaving a sonic spell for the night.
🖤 @blaudiss bringing his ethereal bassy vibes and live instrumentals
🐉 @celestialdragonscollective bringing ritual theater performance artistry into the Samhain portal.

Just a Virgo who loooooves the transit into Libra season ⚖️
We are now moving forward from the energy of the Hermit and towards the energy of Justice. It calls us to stand up and stand for what is right- and if any of you are paying attention to your feeds, you’ll notice this happening right in front of you. It is no longer the time to simply think. Action is required. Change comes regardless if you’re “ready” or not. The call for balance will always ring. It’s up to you to pick up the damn phone! It’s Libra season baby let’s get to it ❤️

Big shout out to my friends on this shoot! @ray_flix on the camera, @xoerra_ on lighting & @lilxsiren with everything else hehehe let’s keep the spooky vibes going all October long 😛

9.12.26!!!

6 years ago we went on our first date down in Sea Bright where we walked on the beach and talked in Cameron’s car for hours. We ended up selling that car 3 years ago. For our proposal, Cameron found the guy who now owns our original car and that man let Cameron take the car for the weekend. He filled the car with flowers, parked it in our same parking spot as our first date and proposed to me in front of it.

That sums up how amazing Cameron is and has always been. I couldn’t be more grateful that I get to spend every day with the love of my life! Cameron is the most thoughtful, most perfect partner I could ask for and I’m so beyond lucky to get to marry him❤️

i LOVE you stinks!!

Thank you SO much @ray_flix for capturing this moment for us!

Two ideas from two very different books have been sitting nicely beside each other.

András Szántó writes about the importance of open possibility: the idea that an institution can remain relevant by allowing itself to evolve, take on different forms, and make room for new ways of being.

Thích Nhất Hạnh writes about interbeing: the understanding that nothing exists entirely on its own, but is always shaped by what it is in relationship with.

Both seem to point toward something I find compelling about practice: Maybe something stays alive not by remaining exactly as it was, but by remaining in relationship with its history, its context, its people, its questions, and its possibilities.

Tradition can give a practice roots without having to give it a fixed shape.

And maybe openness doesn’t mean abandoning what came before. Maybe it means staying curious enough to see what else is already there instead.

What happens when we allow a practice to be both rooted and unfinished? What else is already there?
