“I grew up in the Bible Belt. My family was "religious". My parents worked hard to provide for my brothers and I. We were good people and my mom took my brothers and me to church on most Sundays. We heard the gospel story a thousand times but we were also taught a "works salvation". We were active in church, and I even taught a Sunday school class.

One summer evening two ladies from a local Baptist church knocked on my door. I invited the ladies inside and we had a friendly conversation. Finally, one of the ladies asked if I was going to heaven. I allowed the ladies to show me a Gospel tract. I asked the Lord to save me and made a profession of faith.

Years passed and I began to doubt my salvation. I finally became convicted and understood the significance of the Gospel. I repented and trusted in Jesus as my Savior. I began attending a Biblical New Testament church. I went through a discipleship course and was baptized.

This is a condensed testimony. Words cannot describe how God has moved in my life. I always laugh at the story. Two random ladies planted a seed. I had been in church my whole life and never knew how to go to heaven. After the Holy Spirit worked on my heart, I finally was able to trust in Jesus for everlasting life. Hallelujah, what a Savior!” – Ramone
