It has been a 5+ year journey from the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles to FAN CONTROLLED FOOTBALL. Today, the new league @fcfl has turned from dream to reality, announcing Season v1.0’s kick-off in partnership with @twitch. Beginning February 2021, we’ll be reimagining professional football - combining passions of live & fantasy sports + the interactivity of e-sports & gaming for the digital / COVID-19 age.

The journey is one that has included both highs and lows (and more than a few unexpected twists and turns). I believe that FAN CONTROLLED FOOTBALL would not be a reality today without its diverse group of passionate, driven and brilliant men & women entrepreneurs spread across the 🇺🇸 who never gave up or compromised their vision, pushing boundaries to pioneer a new category of immersive professional sports that will be a seismic shift for all fans in the years to come.

Taking this news a step further; FAN CONTROLLED FOOTBALL has not only excited the sports world, but has allowed me to develop a lifetime of personal friendships and professional relationships that I will truly value forever.

Let's face it. The group behind the FCF are cut from a different cloth. None of us are ever satisfied with what most people would consider success. We at FCF constantly seek new challenges, weighing risks, in search of providing #FCF fans with the ultimate experience. Perhaps best of all, is we have all been on this journey together as blood brothers/sisters.
