We need to talk about last night.

IT WAS EPIC!
😭❤️✨

The vocals she’s serving are absolutely insane and unreal!!😮‍💨

The concert was divided into four acts, just like her album.
We journeyed through the seasons, from autumn to winter, spring, and finally summer. It started with sadness and despair and ended with hope and joy 🥹❤️

I don’t think I’ll ever find the words to describe what happened last night. But I’ll try. 🥹✨💖

The greatest concert I’ve ever been to. Full stop. And one of the most beautiful, unforgettable moments of my life.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: @raye is the most extraordinary singer and songwriter of our time. There is truly no one quite like her. And seeing her perform at the Royal Albert Hall, accompanied by that breathtaking orchestra, band and choir, was nothing short of magical! ✨Every note, every arrangement, every emotion. Absolute perfection. 😮‍💨

But this night meant so much more to me than an incredible concert. (Continues in the next caption)

I’ve been going through one of the most challenging chapters of my life, and RAYE’s music has been a source of comfort, healing, joy and hope in ways I can’t fully explain. I find little pieces of myself in so many of her songs. And Joy, in particular, has become something like a prayer to me. 🙏
A reminder to keep believing in beautiful things, even when life feels a little heavier than usual. 🥺🥹

So I made a sign inspired by her album, This Music May Contain Hope.

THIS GIRL -MAY- DOES CONTAIN HOPE 🥹

Because even on the hardest days, I know that hope is still there. And her music has helped me turn up the volume on it. It showed me I don’t have to do this on my own. 💖

I hoped she might see it. I never, ever imagined what would happen next.

After Joy, she spotted my sign, read it out, asked my name, thanked me for being there and then asked the entire Royal Albert Hall to give me a round of applause.

I WAS SOBBING. SHAKING. COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS. 😭😭😭

I still can’t believe I had the chance to say THANK YOU to her as she was looking at me! 😭😭😭

What made the night even more special was sharing it with my brother. We cried our eyes out, we held on to each other through some of the most beautiful moments of the show. I couldn’t have wished for a better person to experience it all with. 💖

Sorry, we keep posting about RAYE. But she keeps giving us reasons to.

Last night, she performed “Nightingale Lane” at London’s Royal Albert Hall, backed by the Heritage Orchestra and the Flames Collective. And this one deserves another listen.

The concert, THIS SYMPHONY MAY CONTAIN HOPE., was a one-night-only orchestral reimagining of her second album. It also marked a return to familiar ground: in 2023, RAYE performed My 21st Century Symphony in the same venue with the same orchestra and choir.

And “Nightingale Lane”? It’s named after a real street in South London, where her first love said goodbye. RAYE has described it as the greatest heartbreak she’s ever experienced.
