Giving back to a place that gave me so much. 🤍

After experiencing a traumatic car accident, I was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital, where I received care during one of the most difficult moments of my life. My experience there has stayed with me, and it inspired me to find a way to give back to the hospital that helped care for me.

As part of my passion project while running for PO through the Kentucky Youth Assembly/Kentucky YMCA Youth Association, I decided to raise funds and collect item donations for the Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation. I want to help support the children and families who are facing difficult circumstances and make a positive difference in their lives.

Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this post would mean just as much to me. Thank you to everyone who supports this project and helps me turn my personal experience into something that can positively impact others.

Donate through the link in my bio, and help me give back to the hospital that helped me. 🤍

If you are interested in donating any items please look at the list above! You can DM on here and we can discuss it further!! Thank you guys so much!!!

HELLO KYA 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Raylee Hougland, I am a Junior at Breckinridge County High School, and I am running for Presiding Officer at KYA 3! I am beyond excited and blessed for this opportunity! I have been wanting to run for Presiding Officer for the past four years and now with this opportunity I just can’t wait!

I have been in the Y for 4 years and I have been to 10 conferences. From KYA and KUNA all the way to GFI, LTC, and Y-corps! The Y has been my saving grace! I’ve met some of my best friends through the Y, and I have also learned that I have a voice and it does matter.

A few things about me is I love service, hanging out with friends, running track, playing soccer, attending Y conferences, and helping with my clubs! I am involved in HOSA, Student Council, Student Y, Pep club, and FBLA!

Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing and posting a lot of more information on my platforms, my goals for KYA 3, and more about me! I cannot wait for this year’s KYA, and I cannot wait to see everyone!!
