And now back to normal life after 3 full days of good food and better music at @candiaroadbrewingco 😪 I received a lot of thanks & appreciation for “putting this all together”, and while I am both proud & thankful to be acknowledged for the joy we all shared, it was far, far from a solo effort and I think more people should be thanked & acknowledged!!

Oktoberfest/Fütfest/ALLIEfest would not have been an idea without the encouragement & support of @bigfut.music & @allieumble herself for convincing me to ever book shows there, & for inspiring this to be a full weekend.

It would have never been possible if it wasn’t for @bigfut.music & @raym.o.nd giving logistical & planning support, as well as Raymond & Allie making a slew of dope flyers.

The fest would have fallen flat on its face if it wasn’t for daily operational support from @bigfut.music (AGAIN!!! True 🐐 & heart of the fest) @adifferentvillain @samdrouin.music @weeeeeeewooooooooooo & @raym.o.nd

It would not have tasted as good without all of our fine lads behind the bar & in the kitchen, including @grahamo2498 @thejimboslice_ @bigfut.music (if I have to even say it at this point) and others who’s IG i do not have or remember.

It wouldn’t have sounded as good without all of the phenomenal performers: @vauli666 @closed.course @black_hatch @samdrouin.music @unclexriffs @timeeatermusic @funcityfanclub @cozythrone @driftwould @no.green.thumb @trent.larrabee & @bigfut.theband

And it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without the AMAZING crowds that came through EVERY!!! DAY!!! Some people came all three days and that’s so crazy & cool to me that we made something that worthwhile to people just by inviting our friends to come play music.

I only took one picture this weekend, (the rest was videos) but I am very excited to see all the awesome pics @a_cacia__ took!! Shout out to her too for coming all 3 days to take pics for the love of the game :) Candia owes u at least 1 underberg & some fries.

This community- this “music” “”scene”” - is and continues to be one of the best things in my life, and the one I am the most proud to be allowed to be part of. Thank you all <3

Anyway, here’s wonderwall

POV: you awake with a sense of panic in a brightly lit room and the Cat Council of Three COMMANDS you to go to this awesome acoustic charity gig in two weeks!!!

Last month we raised $85 for @beyondbondboston ! Big thank you to everyone that showed up and donated :) this brings the total of undonated cash in my dresser to roughly $755!!! Good lord I need to go to the bank lmao sorry I’ll do it this week I promise! Or at least before our final acoustic charity show of the year (?) on 10/11 (maybe another in November??? Idkidkidk)

In the meantime, please pencil in this MAGNIFICENT giggy for Sunday, 8/16 at @candiaroadbrewingco with some seriously goated performers (myself excluded). @withoutasoul._.music will be playing their first set ever!!! @maxidermist and @raym.o.nd will be blowing our minds and even allegedly combining (voltron perhaps?!?) to create a beautiful rock & roll-ian soundscape, and then I will wrap things up “singing” “songs” mostly about hating work and feeling sad! All in the name of making some cash for @outright_pride which I will donate much more quickly than the rest!!

Hope to see you then my friends :) not 100% but like 98% this is the last one of these I play this year??? So be sure to come check it out and tell me if I suck or not. Take care of yourselves and each other because nobody else will!!!! I love you all, even my haters 🫶
