POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From the very first rehearsal to the final curtain, this experience has been one I will carry with me for a long time.

I am incredibly grateful to have been welcomed into the Ascension Community Theatre family. Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to bring Donkey to life—a role that has been a dream of mine for years.

To this unbelievably talented cast and crew: thank you for your generosity, your laughter, your artistry, and for making every rehearsal and performance something special. It was an honor to share the stage with all of you.

As bittersweet as it is to say goodbye, I know the memories, friendships, and lessons from this production will stay with me long after the swamp has disappeared.

Until next time… 🫏💚🎭

It’s hard to put into words how much this cast means to me.

I signed up for these auditions on a whim, begging my best friend to join me. I’m so proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone and going with me. I often talk about how much I miss dancing with her, but I think sharing a stage together in the theater is even better.

Getting to see familiar faces again was such a gift I didn’t realize how much I had missed you all. And I’m so grateful to have met so many new faces, too. I’ll be honest, though: those first few weeks of rehearsals had me nervous. Everyone has their one or two people to gravitate toward that’s just a given, but after almost a month we hadn’t become a group quite yet. Somewhere between rehearsals, late-night papier-mâché sessions, and all the little moments in between, everyone started letting their guard down and showing more of who they really are.

I got to watch so many of you (and myself) grow, not just as performers, but as people. Every single person in this show is so incredibly talented, kind, and uniquely themselves. I don’t think any of us walked away as the same people who walked into the theater on read-through day, and I think that’s pretty damn special.

Thank you for keeping me laughing and smiling through all of my overtime hours at the castle. This summer gave me friendships and memories I’ll hold onto for a long time.

Love you all. Stay gassy, stay sassy. 💚🧅

Each night, we come back to the cabaret — because we know that looking away, staying silent, doing nothing is part of the problem.

The world outside may be crumbling, but here inside, we choose to see, to feel, to act. Willkommen.

The holidays came kicking this past year, man. It was a really great semester, Thanksgiving, Christmas, one year anniversary, and life just keeps on living itself. Can’t wait for this coming Spring semester.
I miss my girlfriend. Much love. Keep kicking.
