How fast can a place become home?

Apparently very quickly. Because how has it only been FOUR MONTHS since I moved in??? It’s both flown by and felt like I’ve lived so many lives since I’ve been here.
I’ve made so many incredible friends and we’ve had so many silly little side quests. There’s so much that happened I can’t believe I was able to fit so many pictures into 20 slides. But yeah my friends are amazing! We’ve really made this dorm a home. 🥰 I got a job! I’ve been loving being a music student and all the fun musical pursuits available to me.

I can’t wait to see where the next semester takes me! Thank you to all the people who have made this semester ✨magical!✨

See you all next year! 😜

❤️❤️❤️ GO HOOSIERS!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Join the IU Saxophone Ensemble this Monday, 11/17 at 8:30PM in Recital Hall for an unforgettable evening of music from Turina, Lago, Bellini, Nesbitt, Traditional Bulgarian music (arr. Lucas Harvey), and Ravel!
.
We’re especially excited to feature performances by two of our saxophone quartets, AREA Quartet and Kapwa, who will be presenting their own works on the program.
.
From Spanish dances to Bulgarian folk traditions to Ravel’s iconic Bolero, this concert has something for everyone. You won’t want to miss it!

Happy Halloween! Our @indianabands performance this week was pretty spooky, performing the German 1926 silent film, Faust! I had a blast preparing all of this crazy music alongside this awesome film—thank you, Symphonic Band!

Repertoire:
Fascinating Ribbons by Joan Tower
Out of the Shadows, Love Shines by Joni Greene
Anatomy of a Spark by Cooper Wood
from the language of shadows by Huck Hodge (Faust)

And yes, the monkey did make it on stage this time!
