Brazil will always hold such a special place in my heart. 🇧🇷❤️ Getting to see my sweet friends while they’re in town was such a blessing!

After having the opportunity to visit Brazil three times, the Amazon holds a piece of my heart. Hearing their incredible stories of the work they’re doing through Ray of Hope, bringing the love of Jesus to people along the Amazon river, is so special. Hearing about people accepting Jesus into their hearts gives me the biggest joy and literal goosebumps. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing God at work and watching Him change lives. 🙏🏼✨

I’m so grateful for these friendships, for the ministry they’ve dedicated their lives to, and for the impact they’re making. Praying that one day I’ll have the opportunity to serve again on the Amazon. Until then, I’ll keep praying for them and the beautiful work God is doing through them. ❤️

Love you guys and am so thankful I got to see you! 🇧🇷🤍

Generally speaking, I used to be just a Sunday spectator.

I showed up to church, was a dedicated spectator and went home (and went to the beach). At 42, God flipped that script. My first mission trip was to Haiti in 2011. I said I’d never do kids’ ministry… then spent the whole week with kids anyway. Ray of Hope Amazon started for me in 2014. Thirteen years later, more than 100 people have come up and down that river with us, ranging in ages from 8 to 81.

This year’s trip is the week of June 20, 2027. We live on a boat and run mini VBS days, meeting with families, breakout in small groups, and do home visits. It’s $2,000 plus your flight to Manaus, with family discounts available. 15 of 18 spots are still open.

God can use anyone willing to say yes.

NEW DATES! Due to a festival in Manaus I’ve had to move my trip dates up one week to June 21. Thus, all of you will have to wait one week less to change generations by sharing the love of Jesus with the people who live along the Amazon River. Only 17 spots remain. Let’s go.

All I have to say is THANK YOU JESUS! 10 days in the Amazon River serving Jesus was such a privilege. It was so encouraging to see people in such a remote place in the world seeking after Jesus for themselves and their families. The Gospel of Jesus still works and we need to be faithful in taking it to those who need it most.

“He told them: “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” - Luke 10:2
