Take that solo trip🤍✈️✨

Even if you can’t do the whole trip solo, try to carve out one day just for yourself. Explore, wander, reflect. It doesn’t take much to turn a moment into a memory—and sometimes, the best ones are the ones you spend with YOU🤍☺️

Have you ever traveled solo before? Drop a 🌍 if you have, or if it’s one of your travel to-do’s!

Throughout this year, I kept hearing this voice in my head saying, “you talk and share too much.” It hit me one night - mid sentence - while I was yet again, “talking and sharing too much.” I said aloud, “I need to take a vow of silence” without even realizing I said it. God was telling me I needed to practice self-control, self-awareness and intentionality with my words. So, I decided to take a vow of silence.

In order to really understand the value and weight of my words I would intentionally not say anything at all (ironic huh, haha). I went 5 days without speaking to anyone; no phone calls, texts, facetimes, social media messaging, etc. - people could talk to me, but I intentionally refrained from responding.

During this time, I fully locked in with God, tuning in to His guidance and intentions for me, while also prioritizing my healthy habits! Through this experience, I realized:

1.) Silence is a gift.
2.) Words hold weight.
3.) Thoughts have just as much power as actual words.
4.) Listening is more important than responding.
5.) It’s okay to keep some things to myself/only between God and me.
6.) 24 hours go by much slower when you’re detached from your everyday norms, haha!

PUPPY CUDDLE THERAPY 🐶🐾

Who knew!? 😃 It has been proven that spending time with dogs really does help to lower stress levels!

This was truly one of the best experiences I had while in Bali! I got to destress while the puppies received some love and learned social skills in return.

These adorable (and fully vaccinated) pups are brought in by the Bali Dog Association, a non-profit organization working to end the unnecessary suffering of street dogs on the Indonesian island.

If you’re in Bali and want to support a good cause, puppy cuddling is the perfect opportunity! The experience takes place at a calming beach and is around $23 per person for three hours of “cuddle time.” ☺️

BALI VILLA LIVING ☀️ 🌴

I went back to Bali, y’all!! I can’t wait to share some of my favorite memories from this year’s trip!

OUR VILLA: We stayed in this 2bed 2bath villa for 16 days. It’s located in Canggu, Bali, close to all the hustle and bustle! The villa came with great wifi, housekeeping twice a week, a filtered drinking water system and a small plunge pool, for $2,300 total. - The prices for a more “lux” villa experience in the Canggu area is definitely higher than a lot of other cities on the island.

Would you stay here? 🗺️

March was about the balance between working tirelessly to lay bricks for the next career steps, while making the time to live, love, be loved, and laugh. Pressing ahead to April knowing that the miraculous awaits, and more living to be had.
