I had the pleasure of meeting this great gut! Rayshaun Cortez Benny is an American professional football defensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines, winning three consecutive Big Ten Conference titles and a national championship in 2023.

We always had a really good team… but could never produce a championship! I believe our relationships as a team was a huge part of the issue, as well as discipline issues. I learned that talent alone doesn’t guarantee success. So be intentional and always put your best foot forward; doing what’s best for you and all of those who will be impacted by your actions. #canivent #nothingislost #detroit #therebuild

Callie’s latest networking event…🖤💜

Last week, Callie had the incredible opportunity to attend the Baltimore Ravens’ practice through Kennedy Krieger Institute, where she visited the Castle and met several Ravens players.

Every new connection is another chance to raise awareness for lissencephaly and remind people that every brain belongs.

Thank you to the @ravens and @kennedykriegerinstitute for making this such a special day for Callie and so many other amazing kids. 💜

Every NFL player has a story.

Rayshaun Benny's wasn't built overnight.

From a 4⭐ recruit in Michigan, to waiting behind future NFL stars, to winning a National Championship, overcoming a broken fibula in the Rose Bowl, and finally hearing his name called by the Baltimore Ravens with the 250th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

His journey is proof that perseverance, patience, and resilience can open the right door.

The draft was only the beginning.

👇 Do you think Rayshaun Benny will become the Ravens' next late-round steal?
