No more 🌵 pads!!! - pad holders can make or break a training session so it’s important for your safety and your partners session that we know how to hold pads properly.

Here’s a little drill to help punch accuracy and free up the lead hand to throw a hook at our punchers.

The defensive focus is footwork and head movement, not the guard this time 🥊

Working the second phase 🥊

First phase stings, second phase shuts the door – making it harder for your opponents to counter.

Always move in with the jab on the 11, don’t plant your feet too early, and keep your head off the centre line.

Control the range, take their space, and give ‘em no chance to fire back. #SecondPhase #NoEscape #PadWorkIQ”

Missing the punch drill by @jtbxng Part 3 🥊

Demo by @raysskim

So now we add missing both the cross and the lead hook in one drill. Step and pivot when missing the 2 and roll when missing the 3 👌🏾

This is an option for missing the right hand that @jtbxng showed me w/ @raysskim

Not the end all be all, just an option ✅

Poimen stepped into the ring on May 10 on the @jtbxng for his debut—and made it unforgettable. Most would crack under that kind of hype, but he thrived under pressure and shined like a diamond. And came away with the W.

What. A. Debut.

My team are up 3-0
